Direct replacement for a 30 year old P128. I just had to make some minor adjustments using the supplied pvc tubing. This new unit allows me to use disposable bags which my old unit did not allow. I purchased a screen filter as well which I did not have on my old unit either. Overall, a nice upgrade.

I tried to fix our old 2 motor 325 VacuMaid with 2 new motors but in addition to the motors, the relay contacts and the circuit breakers were toast too. Local estimate to replace with their house brand was over $1200. This model fits on the same bracket as the old and the PVC piping was included to easily retrofit the new unit. The performance is equal or better than the old 325. One star off for packaging; the item was dented but OK and it does not show. We did use the new bracket because the old two bracket mount was either too high or too low.

Lorsque nous avons sorti l’aspirateur de la boîte, au fond de la boîte se trouvait le bouton de pression de l’un des connecteurs à basse tension. Lors de l’installation, le bouton de pression pour le cordon d’alimentation de l’autre connecteur est tombé aussi. Nous avons du adapter le tout pour que les cordons d’alimentation soient en place. Nous trouvons que cette nouvelle méthode de branchement n’est pas adéquate par rapport à la robustesse et pesanteur de l’aspirateur, l’ancien méthode avec des vis était très fiable et a duré 35 ans. Pourquoi changer ce qui fonctionne? En ce qui concerne l’aspirateur tout fonctionne à merveille.

Where to begin . The box was completely destroyed . I didn’t get the chance to installed because there were no parts . Just few plastic bags I found inside the vacuum . This thing is going right back where it came from . DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP .

After almost 40 years had to replace my old Vacumaid vacuum. The motor just finally went kaput. Called around all over and the prices were ridiculous! Finally got an “aha” moment and decided to look on Amazon. Voila! This one is more powerful, quieter, and hopefully will last another 40 years!
