You won’t go wrong with this handheld vacuum. The power boost feature works great and gets in those crevices with the attachment. I wish the charge lasted longer but I can live with that because by the time it runs out, I’m ready to move on to another chore. On one charge I can vacuum the furniture, stairs, wall corners, and spot vacuum area rugs. It goes right back on the handy storage holder to charge again for another day.

I researched for a few weeks before buying a new handvac. I bought the plum Wanvac. I’m so glad I did purchase it. It’s so lightweight and easy to use.
My only complaint is the very small dust cup. It doesn’t hold much at all. And filters are a little pricey. I read you can wash filters and reuse. But they’re made of cardboard and it’s kinda difficult to get all the dirt from in between the folds. Mine is already looking frayed and worn after 6 or 7 uses. But it’s not enough to discourage me from purchasing it again.
I found the battery lasts long enough to vacuum my couch cushions and underneath them. And my son is the “crumb meister”!
I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family members. It so much better than the generic brand one I had previously.

I was looking for a small vacuum to cleaning up small messes.
This vacuum worked great for a few months. Then, it started to make a terrible sound. I cleaned the filter, looked for clogs. But that didn’t help.
I reached out to Shark and they asked for a video of the issue. I offered to send a new one to me, but I’d have to pay for shipping.
I got the replacement. It worked well for around 2 months and started to make the same terrible sound. It’s not worth getting a replacement. I’m just going to look into a different brand.

What is wonderful about wand vacuums are their simplicity. They are single button operation, lightweight tools that you use to manage small or immediate spills. The Shark wandvac is one of the singularly most used items in my household and it was a game changer for me for getting younger kids to be more involved in maintaining the home. Even though my kids were older than toddlers, they had fine and gross motor difficulties which made pulling out the regular vacuum a big chore for them. The Shark wandvac made it so easy for them to pick up crumbs after mealtimes around their seats and on the table. It made it so they could sweep and then vacuum up the dust pile (much easier than using a dustpan).
I loved it so much, I wanted to get a second wandvac for the upstairs and got this new model. I thought it’d be better since it mentions pet hair and my upper floor has more carpeting. However, I see that Shark sacrificed simplicity in order to lengthen the battery life. Since the default setting is this regular “deep clean mode” (a misnomer), you’ll get longer battery life. When you push the power button, it starts to suction, but at a fraction of the power as the original Shark wandvac. In order to get comparable suction power, you have to then push the “turbo” button. 2 steps isn’t a big deal for most people, but if you’re really looking for better cleaning power on carpeting, you’re going to end up having to always use that turbo button. For me, we use the wandvac in short bursts rather than long periods (like for vacuuming the whole car) so I never complained about short battery life. The couple times I did use the wandvac to clean my minivan, the battery worked sufficiently to very thoroughly clean the first 2 rows before it died and needed recharge.
My other big complaint is the way the emptying cup releases the dirt. The old wandvac literally had a cup and would reliably release the dirt into the garbage without any need for me to touch it unless I was cleaning the dustcup. Now, with this new model, the cup has been replaced with a dust “lid” which simply opens and you’re supposed to throw the dirt into the garbage, but I have found that long hair is consistently wedged near the filter and I have to reach in and remove it every. single. time. Never was an issue with the original design.
Final complaint is that the new model is ever so slightly heavier. And that weight isn’t distributed as well. It feels less ergonomic as the weight feels centered in the middle, rather than distributed throughout the wand.
In all, I’m returning this 410 model and going back to the original Shark 201 wandvac.

Arrived new and works pretty good. I used it without either attachment as it sucks better that way. When vacuuming my car I did have to brush the sand into one pile first in order for it to pick up all sand. As for the cars carpet it picked up that dirt with no problem. I even have a small rug in my room that I ran this across and it sucked up pretty good. Battery life was definitely short but I did expect that beforehand.

This unit picks up the smalles particles(big ones too) and filters even the smallest powdery dust. I wish I had one my whole life! So handy with no chord. I just keep it plugged in and it’s ready to go always! So very handy! Get one! You’ll be glad!
