I purposely looked for this vacuum because I had one many years ago, that I had to give away when I moved. I used to use it in a cleaning business. Lightweight, sturdy, and easy to handle. Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it.

Suction excellent. Attachments poorly made. Edges of plastic very rough, cut finger 2 times, must be sanded down. Brush attachment cheaply made and will wear out very soon. Can use brush attachment from my 20-year old vac which is much higher quality still. The long wand is easy to extend BUT too heavy – will use old light-weight plastic wand from 20-year old vacl. The wheels are cheap plastic and not good for hardwood floor finishes. Compared this commercial vac to my neighbor’s much less expensive Best Buy vacuum — this new one is made so cheaply. Very sorry I ordered this and will probably end up giving it to family members.;

I just ordered a Sanitaire Commercial Electrolux canister– which will be the third one
we’ve ordered in the past 20 some years, because we LOVE this powerful little thing. It
arrived the next day, even though we were told 3 days. The only
problem is that the one that was delivered to us, does not match the picture of the one we
ordered, nor the other two that we already own. It looks the same, but does not have “Commercial” and “Electrolux” written on
the side, AS PICTURED, and as is the case on our other two. I called the number for Big Desk
Drawer that you indicate to call for customer service, but I am being told that this is an Amazon
issue, not their issue. I cannot figure out, now how to solve this problem through Amazon. Would
love some help with this. As for a review of my previous Sanitaire Vacuums, the only reason we keep
ordering more of these is because after a number of years, a wheel will inevitably fall off. The
positive is that this small, relatively light vacuum with a TON of power and a very long cord, is the
best little vacuum we’ve ever found. Now if I can get my little issue solved, I’ll be so happy! Thank you,

I have had a bad run around with vacuums the last few years. My last one I spent a pretty penny on, was the ultimate pet eureka upright vacuum. It was bagless and had a fancy retractable chord. Unfortunately I learned that those features tend to cause problems over fair use and just died after only a year. The repair shop explained the chord gets burnt out faster and also with being bagless they tend to get dirt in the motors easier. I started a cleaning job and really fell in love with the performance of a commercial vacuum and mobility. Was using the Pro Team. However those run for $400 dollars. I have guinea pigs. I sweep up as much hay and thier poop as I can but I needed something that could help with the left debris and small pieces I could not get. I use the vacuum every other day for a full clean. Initially I was happy to find the vacuum and it’s tool pieces are made off a hard strong plastic. Durable and I don’t have to worry about the steel poles denting in like those of the Pro Team. The suction had been amazing and I haven’t experienced any clogging. So far it’s been outstanding!

when I purchased this I thought it was great, I am trying to use it today and there is no suction, cant get it to pick anything up….checked it all over…cant find a reason….if I could send it back I would….

I have used this vacuum for 10+ years in my Professional Organizing business. Be ware that in the last 2 years they now ship it with two separate plastic tubes instead of the original good quality metal telescoping wand. And they now ship with a cheap plastic floor brush that does NOT compare to the original metal one. Both of these items are available on Amazon but add additional cost to the product. Regardless this vacuum is a solid workhorse. Great for baseboards, walls, cars, cabinets, drawers, closets and more. Does not do very well on carpet but that’s why I have an upright. I like disposable bags vice a bagless model for cleanliness purposes. The HEPPA filter is available on Amazon for less than $10 if you desire. A solid machine, strong suction, lightweight and easy to use.

This vacuum has powerful suction, but the little door that adjustions it is right where I held my hand so it would open and close whenever I moved the wand around. The decimals may be lower than other vacuums but the pitch is pretty high so it can be overwhelming if you use it for an extended period. I’m so glad I bought it, it works great!
