Great suction on both hard and carpet floors. A must have for a house with dogs

Samsung Jet 75 vacuum should be available in Canada as it out perform the Dyson 10 vacuum that I had prior.
It is well built and solid including the accessories, this is definitely an advantage over the Dyson. As for dependability it is to soon to tell although it appears to be easier to clean over the Dyson. The biggest disadvantage is the small collection container.

UPDATE 1.23.24: I would go lower than 1 star if possible. Contacted Samsung and they told me the vacuum was still under warranty and would work on sending me a replacement piece. I was sent a link to upload the receipt because they said it was missing. This same receipt I had already uploaded into my Samsung account. Upon their review they let me know the warranty timeframe had expired. Past 1 year. I can understand being out of warranty, BUT, what bugs me the most is they contact me to let me know the service fee would be $199. They list the entire vacuum head for $59.99 on the Samsung website, and $93.68 on another Samsung parts website, but both sites saying out of stock. Neither price close to the service fee they want to charge me. DO NOT BUY!
Original Review: Great vacuum starting out. It works well on tile floors and rugs. Picks up everything you need it to, including all the hair from 2 dogs, and the messes 2 kids can make. Initially I thought this vacuum was the perfect solution. Now that we have had the vacuum for just over a year, I have had the front wheels fall off twice. Had to replace one of them, because we couldn’t find the piece. Now I am noticing small cracks in the plastic where the wheels attach. Have had a Shark stick vacuum for over 6 years without this ever happening. No cracks in any of the plastic. If you want a vacuum that will last, this is not the one. I hate to say this because I love the features and how well it works.

I’ve never had a vacuum cleaner that, on the highest setting, has almost too much suction. A friend of mine has a much more expensive big-name-brand unit — but it doesn’t have this kind of power.

This is a really great vacuum, but there are a couple things I wish were better.
Pros: It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver. It’s powerful and quick to clean, picking up everything. I like the two speeds, using max always on my hardwood and the lower speed on my low pile area rug. I actually love it with exception to the “cons”.
Cons: I don’t like that it cannot stand on its own. If I have to stop cleaning for any reason, it does not stand and does not even lean well. I also think that Samsung could have done better with the removal of the canister. It does not snap off or on with a quick click, and I feel that it could be a weak point. For the price point, I feel Samsung fell short on these “con” points.
Now, as for the unit that sucks the debris from the canister: I’m happy I got it, but if there is much hair it does not pull it off well. The suction seems strong, but I must manually pull it out often. I have long hair and due to COVID I have been losing allot of hair, so I’m guessing most people won’t see this as a problem. Even with this issue, I love this unit. It keeps the dust from flying into the air when dumping the dirt.
The battery is good, but I wish it stayed charged a bit longer.
Overall I love this vacuum and the dust collector, and I’m happy I got it!

i’ve used cordless dyson for YEARS and this samsung blows them out of the water. it even feels more durable and better quality. very easy to clean out and charge holds well. great attachments, wall mount, super easy to use. lightweight and nice on the eyes! suction works incredibly well. cord length for charger is about 4 feet or so. functionality: 100%

I love the ease of using this lightweight vacuum. Pros: lightweight , easy to maneuver and charge. Easy to empty out. Great value for the money.
Cons: charge doesn’t last as long as I would like ( 30 minutes)

I love the cordless and lightweight of this vacuum. My husband is obsessed with it so I don’t use it as often. I’m not too familiar with cordless vacuums. My mother has an LG and it seems to be easier to move around but don’t go by that cause I only used it on hardwood. I feel this vacuum is really good. It’s strong. I have to use 2 hands to control it while using it on carpet. I’m not sure why. My husband doesn’t. The cleaning container I didn’t think we needed. I have a small house and I hate useless things around. I love this container. So far I think it’s worth having. I have a dog and allergies. It cleans the vacuum compartment very well. We did get it on sale.

I was surprised to see no reviews for the Jet 75 and there is no youtube videos either. Before I made my purchase I relied on the youtube reviews of the Jet 90 which is essentially the same vacuum but with the mop attachment (as far as I gathered.)
Just to give you a little background: We have tiles, laminate and area rugs. I come from using mid range corded vacuums and I have never made such an expensive purchase before for a cleaning tool. We have two dogs, one of which sheds – a mini pincher, the other one does not- wheaten terrier. You might say that given the small size of the mini pincher, I shouldn’t complain about the hair on the floor and furniture but believe me, I vacuum 2 times a day and there is still hair to be cleaned.
I initially purchased a cheaper stick vacuum which did not satisfy my cleaning needs but did show me that you can’t beat the convenience of cordless if you vacuum multiple times a day.
So here I am, giving you my initial thoughts on this “monster” of a vacuum stick.
The Jet 75 is very powerful! You wouldn’t believe it! I am beyond impressed with the suction power and ease of use. Here are my pros and cons:
Pros:
– cordless (obviously)
– power – the low setting is fine (about 110-120 AW), mid level is awesome (around 140-150 AW), and the high is insane (around 200 AW.) It actually makes it a bit hard to vacuum a carpet on high cause it sucks so hard and needs a stronger push -some may consider this a con where I don’t mind it. No such issues on tile or hardwood floors.
– attachments – there are plenty with my favorites- fabric/furniture/bedding brush and the elbow flex attachment.
– great range of motion all around.
Cons:
– it’s a bit heavy in the hand- most of the weight is in the battery but that’s not something you can part with to use it.
– no LED floor light- it really helps to have it and I don’t know why Samsung chose not to integrate it to the unit. I just purchased a battery operated closet stick led which I plan to mount on the front. Just ordered it today so not sure how well my plan would work yet. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089JYP45L/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_HywnFbY14M8Z9
– mine came with no documentation- very odd as it didn’t appear to be a used item. All is available online but I guess I’m used to Samsung’s manual books.
Overall, this is an amazing stick vacuum! If you are in the market for one, I would highly suggest you add this to your comparing list.
Personally, I was torn between the Jet 75 and the LG A9. The mate red LG which is in the same price point as the Jet 75, comes with an additional battery but suction strength is rated at 140 AW. Also, the LG comes with a floor stand should you not want to attach it to a wall or inside a cabinet. I went for the power.
But why not a Dyson, you ask? To me Dyson’s are overpriced for the mediocre job they are able to achieve. One of my closest friends has a Dyson stick. The vacuum is a joke. I can’t even compare it to the Jet 75 because you shouldn’t compare apples to lemons . The only suggestion I would give is to look up the suction power and compare. At this time, a 200 AW Dyson costs $1000. It’s insane what good marketing can do for a business lol
I didn’t mean to make this review so long but wanted to share my experience. If you have any questions, please free to ask and if I can, I’ll give you an answer.
Overall, the Jet 75 is awesome and if you are willing to spend the money, I very highly recommend it.
