This product is amazing. We researched numerous vacuums, and finally settled on this, the most recent production from Pro Team. This vacuum is awesome. Light weight, easy to wear, easy to maneuver, powerful and great on all types of flooring. It has truly sped up how quickly we can move through a home for cleaning. It has decreased our time by easily 1/3. Meaning we can complete the cleaning of a home in 2/3 the amount of time as before.
Other notes: The clever design allows for the heat from the motor to blow directly back, keeping it off the users legs (genius), the cord is 50ft, so if you find a strategic plug, you can vacuum a whole floor of a home without stopping. It is comparatively quiet and easy to empty & clean.
We will definitely be purchasing more of these as our business grows. I can’t wait to see what the next version is like, hard to fathom how they could improve on this…
UPDATE: (11/2015) Several years in and we now own 3 of these vacuums (all purchased through amazon) and they are all great. We still love them. We had one vacuum have some harness issues and we contacted ProTeam and they sent us to a local servicer that repaired. The issues were fixed at no charge to us. That is the upside with commercial equipment, it usually has commercial warranties. We also have purchased multiple heads for the vacuum poles (though not all through amazon). We actually use the felt heads (replacing the standard one it comes with) as they don’t scratch hard surfaces, like plastic heads can sometimes, and are still useable on super low profile carpets. We have had to replace the cord on one of the units, but that is to be expected as we wind and unwind these guys at least 3-5 times daily, depending on how many jobs a crew has. Anyway, a minimal expense for how awesome these are.

Suction is noticeably better than the old backpack of 18 years ago. I do wish they would not have changed EVERY attachment interface, b/c the former design was just right. So I used the older flex hose to then integrate with old attachments!
It takes some time getting used to the new harness, which imho is inferior to the old harness – only two loops for two brushes on the new harness, and the position of the loops is difficult to get to, so I carry a long brush in my pocket. The on/off switch is integral with the harness, which is better only because of the heavy cord, which can be ornery. At least it won’t pull out from the motor housing.
The cord is long, but it is soft and therefore catches on just about everything, and it is fairly heavy, so expect lots of readjusting throughout your home during your cleaning expedition.
I give it five stars ⭐️ (x5), only because I could use my old attachments, and because it does really suck.

I normally buy this brand and they last a least one year. However I decided to buy this one but broke in two months. Very disappointed in this product and how it didn’t last.
The product came damaged, I wouldn’t know if –
Outstanding vacuum I would definitely recommend!

While ProTeam is my preferred vacuum, it has secondary design issues that could be easily fixed by the manufacturer. This is my second ProTeam vacuum. The ergonomic issues and attachment design problems are getting worse not better. Here is the good, bad, and ugly.
The good:
I first noticed ProTeam vacuums in use by the cleaning professionals at my government facility. They all liked ProTeam. So, I bought one for home use. And when I needed a second vacuum, I bought another one. First off, I love the mobility of this back pack style vacuum. There is no machinery dragging on the floor or catching on furniture and doorways. As a 5’7″ male in his 60s, I do not find the weight or size of the 10 qt vacuum burdensome at all. You can move quickly and vacuum fast. Secondly, the suction is formidable. It never diminishes except when the bag is stuffed to the gills and needs changing. Third, there are no rollers to bog down with tangled hair build-up. The bag comes out easily for a fast, no-hassle change.
The bad:
ProTeam does not know how to attach an attachment. None af the wands, brushes, and tubes are very secure. All have a tendency to drop off in use. You would think ProTeam could solve this simple problem. On my first ProTeam, the small attachments are held in place by suction. Turn off the machine, the attachment drops. Bizarre right? On my second ProTeam, they started providing a rubbery intermediate connector. This connector does not go into the tube very far so the attachments wobble. And then, after a few pulling motions, the connector drops out. Fairly unbelievable. ProTeam, please just steal any of the methods any other vacuum company uses to hold an attachment onto a tube and solve this.
The ugly:
The backpack harnesses are not ergonomical. The vacuum typically wants to ride down and off your shoulders. This tendency is mainly due to poorly designed harnesses. The rig needs to be stable on one’s shoulders and back. Rather than state why ProTeam’s design is bad, I would just urge them to look at the flagship models of the best selling leaf-blower companies. They have solved it. It is not a question of padding or chest straps. Please just look at them and redesign your harnesses. Do not fail to notice that the strap keeping the shoulder straps from splaying is behind the neck, not across the chest. If you do, I promise to buy a third machine from you when the time comes.

I flip homes and I couldn’t image not having this handy. I like to clean throughout the construction phase and this works wonders. Picks up all the dust and debris

Not heavy on your back, easy to adjust to you. I would keep it adjusted to you personally, and buy another for employees. As the adjustment changes it can be a small hassle. At the price it’s worth it to have a couple of them. I have used it several times with no issues. I readjusted it for my wife who is 110 lbs and 5 ft tall, and it didn’t bother her back either. Every cleaning situation is different, this works well on almost everything, but I still use an upright vacuum for certain things. I will be buying more.
