Bought the PFX900S for several reasons: I wanted
carpet extractor with a beaterbar brush,
Needed something moore powerful then then RugDoctor machine I’ve used for the past 8 or more years.
The first several times using the machine it worked great!!! With the 360 rotating brush, it pulled massive amount of pet har. I was very impressed. It was a little too large for use in a residential home;however, I only had to fill it up one time to do several rooms. With the Rug Doctor, I have to fill the machine up aeveral times just to do one room.
Everything thing was great with the machine until the brush stop working!
The motor ran but the brush wasn’t rotating. Unfortunately the shift and gear became detached.
I returned the machine but tried to reach out thru Amazon for a repair or replacement. Looks like an engineering flaw.
Another reason I went with the machine is it made by a St Louis based company and I wanted to support a local company.

Very powerful, the only issue is that the cable is in the back and one must walk backwards entangling with the cable.
But really clean!!
