You get exactly what is shown here, a powerful little machine that will hold around 33 ounces of water and sit flat on a counter. It plugs into a wall and the wand or steamer handheld has a good reach (about 7 feet). What I find unusual is the extender nozzle rod and the original nozzle attached to the machine really disperse the steam in identical ways. I thought, like a garden hose, there might be some slight variation in where you can point the steam, or perhaps shoot it out in a flat line for when you’re doing wall corners in the bathroom or tile lines. It just has the one dispersal mechanism though.
The machine itself allows you to dial up or down the intensity of the steam, making the box a little angrier. It does not, however, allow you to make the scope in which it sprays narrower. I know some of the name brand steamers do that or have a wand that sprays in sort of a flat line to get grout for you. If you hold the wand here close to your tile, you’ll definitely be able to clean without that, it’s just a feature that you might want to know isn’t there.
This absolutely will work for the vast majority of your steam cleaning needs. Wear the gloves that come with this and if you’re in a tight space maybe even put on some protective goggles. It is hot.
One downside – mine did not come with the nylon brush attachment. I didn’t order it for scrubber heads, just the steam, so I don’t really care about that part, but some might. The gloves are pretty nice though.
