the main feature is that it is a bag device. No more messy emptying of the containers that you experience when using a bagless vacuum. It is very lightweight and easy to maneuver so as to clean in narrow spaces. It is my view that this is a far better vacuum cleaner than the one it replaced, which was a Dyson upright.

well, where do I begin? I loathe housework – I would rather be outside than inside, and housework requires that I work inside – ugh – however, I have three dogs (two are Border Collies with undercoats), and a cat, I live in the country near a gravel/dusty road, and I burn wood downstairs to heat the house – dirt, dust, soot, and pet hair are simply a way of life around here, and like it or not, I am required to occasionally vacuum it all up 🙂 about 35 years ago I purchased a Kenmore model 116 upright – awesome, simple vacuum – ten years ago I thought I’d give a bagless vacuum a whirl after the Kenmore went underwater during basement flooding – the Bissell Helix bagless was total garbage – after attempting to clean three times with it, I checked the Kenmore, and while now rusted a bit, it was dried out from the flooding – I turned that puppy on and it ran like always – I have used that vacuum right up to now, and the roller brushes are worn to the point I thought it might be time for a new vacuum – I decided to try this Kenmore Intuition since it appeared to have nice features, was certainly modernized from the days of my old clunker Kenmore, and it has bags – the vacuum was delivered and has been sitting in the box for almost two weeks – during that time my dogs have been doing a great job of ensuring the vacuum’s first test was a good one, particularly leaving coat behind on the living room rug – today I assembled the vacuum (easy) and very much liked the ease of reading the various buttons on the machine, as well as how easily the buttons all work – I turned the vacuum on, pushed the button to engage the roller, and it practically vacuumed without assistance – it’s light weight makes it very manageable, the head swivels beautifully, and holy cow, it has got some kinda suction! a once over was enough to clean up the dog hair, and once I was on the laminate wood floor, I turned the roller brush off and the suction was pullin’ stuff in from six inches away! I am very impressed with the power of this thing – it also has a handle built into the body that makes it super easy to pick up and carry around – the wand is wonderful, releases easily for separate use, and reassembles just as readily – the cord is nice and long, and the hooks to wind the cord up on are far enough apart there is a ton of extra availability for winding the cord, so it doesn’t fall off the hooks right away – the head of the machine releases into vacuuming position with a light tap on the head by the diagram of a foot – push the button to engage the roller brush and the green light comes on, or push the button to disengage and the light goes off – I turned the vacuum off for a moment, and when I turned it back on the green light was off – I thought it was already broken, and pushed the button multiple times to no avail – turns out the roller brush doesn’t engage until the head is released to vacuum – nice feature once I realized that was the deal –
if this vacuum holds up 35 years like my first Kenmore has, it will outlive me – I’ll never have to buy another vacuum again – I highly recommend this gem – it might even make me enjoy housework a bit more 🙂

PRODUCT UPDATE😞 The vacuum worked great until I had to change the bag… And know the casing holding the vacuum bag will not go back on…I thought it was user error so I came back to the reviews to look for some help only to find that I’m not the only one this has happened to Please read the reviews under vacuum bag (My mistake didn’t read it) The vacuum cleaner has a light that tells you when to empty the vacuum bag and until you can get the case back on the light want go off and the vacuum want switch back to suction and you cannot use the vacuum cleaner at all…Other than this one big problem😞
If directions are your sworn enemy!! LoL
Relax assembling this vacuum cleaner is a piece of cake it was super easy I put it together in less than five minutes ..I got the purple one and it looks just like the picture beautiful color it’s easy to handle , strong suction…..I was going to purchase one for my mom She’s elderly and I think the weight would be to much for her it’s not extremely heavy but it does have some weight to it ….I would purchase again/Recommend

We have 3 dogs and a cat in a 2-story home. This vacuum is the best we have had so far! Lightweight, easy to use and the accessories are great! The suction power is very strong! Nothing bad to say about it!

I’ve never had a bagged vacuum before this, but after my last vacuum emitted a lot of dust whenever I emptied it out I figured I’d give a bagged vacuum a try. This one is absolutely excellent; there’s no mess when I change out of the bag, and I’ve had the vacuum for over a year now and have only had to change the bag once, and that’s with a lot more vacuuming than I used to do. The vacuum glides well on the floor, it isn’t heavy, and the brushroll is a nice tough. It picks up dirt and crumbs a lot better than my last vacuum too. Literally the only complaint I can think of is that one of the attachments doesn’t stay on its storage spot on the vacuum very well, but I just store it somewhere else until I need it.

I chose this vaccine because it uses bags which have more suction. The breakdown into portable components it’s really simple. The stop spin feature for hard floors is great. The cord is very long and the machine maneuvers well around corners. It can also reach fairly far under couches without using the extension. I gave 4 stars because this unit needs a light on the front but it’s a small gripe.

This vacuum is not at all good for people with long hair. There is not (an easy) way to take out the brush roller and clean it. You have to either remove 13 screws and pry open the top with limited access to remove the brush, or leave it in place and use a scissor and snip, snip snip and try to reach your fingers around the small plastic parts. My previous and beloved Hoover Wind Tunnel lasted 11 years, I believe, because I could maintain it (keep the brush clean and change my own belts). Five screws and I could take out the brush roller and clean it completely (safely with a razor), without sitting on the floor breaking my nails. We have a lot of fur and long hair in my house and I am very disappointed that there is not an efficient way to take out the roller. It picks up pretty good, when the brush isn’t full.
I do like how light it is and the thinner depth of fits under my furniture better. The smaller width fits under my chairs, but also means more swipes back and forth on the open floor. The attachments are easily accessible, though seem a little flimsy, and do not stay on the holders, which is annoyance to have to take them on/off each time you vacuum or pick them up when they inevitably fall off. I don’t have stairs, but I use the removable wand to access corners and dust baseboards, and that is nice and easy to do.

I was surprised by the suction and dirt pick up. Was Leary with a Sears product since many of their stores closed but couldn’t find the Hoover I wanted at the time and desperately needed the floors vacuumed. Isn’t too heavy to push and maneuver. So far it tops the previous vacuum I had(let’s just say it wasn’t a Hoover),
