La maquina es muy util ya que tengo una alfombra de sala donde mi perrhija hace de las suyas. Mi sillón de tela le aspiro la suciedad y polvo. Se puede ver realmente en el tanque de deposito la suciedad que recolecta. Estoy satisfecha con mi compra.

I was very excited to use my machine. It came with what looks like a USA plug and no adapter.
I read the instructions, used my own adapter, measured and filled the machine, turned it on and instantly heard a bang, with the smell of burning and then machine turned off…
I felt it was going to create an electrical fire, especially how there is water inside the machine and something has exploded in there.
Not a nice experience.

My initial impression upon unboxing and assembling the machine was that the plastic it’s made of feels very cheap and pliable and that it needs to be handled with care. It seems to clean fairly well though, it got rid of some stubborn stains and I was pleased with how much water it was able to extract from the carpet so it wasn’t left feeling soaked, though I still did need to run a dehumidifier to assist with drying.
I tested out the hose and a couple of attachments and I felt it worked well but it was quite tricky to get the solution tube firmly attached to the port.
I liked the sample solution that it comes with, but I bought some Hoover Pet +Oxy solution to use afterwards, and I found that one to be incredibly foamy and deposited so much soap in the carpet that I had to rinse about 6 times to get it all out. In the end I started diluting it with water to cut down on the rinsing I had to do. Once the solution comes in contact with the rubber seal on the cap of the solution tank, it starts to feel very loose and doesn’t close tightly like the water side does, for some reason.
Ultimately, on my second use, the solution/clean water tank started leaking from both caps down the back of the machine. To be able to finish cleaning I stuffed a tea towel into the handle of the tank to absorb the leaking and I went through two towels just doing a very small room. I contacted Hoover about it, they wanted me to take the machine to a service center, but because there isn’t one in my city, they offered to send me a new machine if I destroyed the current one. In the end I opted to just return it to Amazon, since I don’t necessarily trust that a replacement machine wouldn’t just have the same issue.

Was easy enough to put together. First I did my area rug.. functionally it worked great. It is a bit heavy when full. I like that it has a rinse on it. I would never imagine that much soap would be left behind. Next I did my full wall to wall carpets upstairs. No one is up there but has not been cleaned in a year. Usually I rent a commercial shampooer. So having said that it cleans nicely.. but every five minutes I had to stop to put water in it or empty it out. That was time consuming. The attachments work nicely easy to connect and use. Again when full it’s heavy so if the hose doesn’t go half way up your stairs so you can put it and bottom
Of stairs and do half and on top of stairs to do the other half I can’t see putting it on a step in the middle and trying to shampoo. It’s a good shampooer in an emergency.. good
For area rugs again wall to wall you’re going to have to keep stopping. There is not a lot of noise . It was a good value for the money.. good in case the pet does a 😬. Would I buy it again? Yes I would it was worth the money and the convenience of not always having to run out to

I am updating my review. Up it to 5 stars. Even though I had to keep stopping to refill with water or empty it the performance of this machine is awesome. I went back and looked at my rugs .. I am use to a commercial size shampooer.. and I have to say I think this one out beats the clean of the commercial one.. this one is a little more time-consuming however the performance is right up there. Have no complaints about the performance I’m impressed. Today I did my steps awesome attachments love them! The hose reaches about seven steps up, which is the same as a commercial one. It cleaned the steps very well. Five stars five stars five stars! Best shampooer I ever had ! And the price was great. I am so happy I bought it. It’s convenient to always have it. I could do my carpets my furniture anytime I want if my dog has an accident it’s there it’s clean. Awesome people! try it out.

I had this same cleaner before, however an older model of it. It’s amazing, if you clean it regularly it will last a very long time, but you have to clean it on a regular basis, especially if you have pets because that fur will stick to the inside of the pipes, which happens on any vacuum of course, but this one is made in a way that you can put a thick pipe cleaner in there or even a wire hanger with a rag attached and push all of it out and it works good as new every time. Not recommended to leave solution in the clean water tank overnight or in storage because the chemicals can break down the plastic and cause leaks, not fault of the manufacture either its just how things work. I did have issues with delivery and felt some type of way about it, which is a different story but to keep it short I feel the delivery driver refused my delivery because of the neighborhood I live in as I watched the GPS circle around my house and then watched outside it just blow right past me when I was allegedly the next stop, then turn around in the wrong direction and then suddenly go offline, then it doesn’t arrive until the next day when I am at work at a delivery time that doesnt work for me and thankfully I had someone available to pick it up for me…but in that case where those kind of drivers are hesitant to deliver to a specific area of the neighborhood should be assigned to gated community deliveries during the day time only because I was literally outside waiting to help her so she didnt have to bring it all the way to my front door herself and watched it blow right past my street in person and on GPS in the app and I took screenshots….but I can’t blame that on the seller so 5 stars for the product itself.

This Hoover carpet cleaner upright shampooer works as described. It is a bit heavy in weight, but this seems to be a benefit. It is still fairly easy to manoeuvre on carpets and does an effective clean. We weren’t sure how much soap is generated, so ended up rinsing the carpet 3 times just to get all the suds out. There’s no description in the instruction manual to advise if the cleaning solution can be watered down and still be effective. The only beef we have is that the starter solution provided was for pet cleaning (we have no pets) instead of general cleaning, and was used up completely on only a portion of our full carpet.

Me mudé a un nuevo departamento y la alfombra lucia como si jamás hubiera sido lavada, hablo de una alfombra de calidad baja, sin mantenimiento, en terrible estado.
Esta máquina es buenísima, no es tan grande como imagine por qué lo que leí en algunos comentarios, la elegí por tener la opción modo manual que el modelo más pequeño no tiene y lo use para limpiar las torres de gatos que pensé en tirar a la basura y recuperaron su color 😺
No logra limpiar las orillas pegadas a la pared o algún mueble, pero puedes usar para eso la manguera y hacerlo en modo manual y queda todo parejo.
Cuando apaguen la máquina inmediatamente pónganla inclinada hacia atrás, o el agua sucia que estaba llendo al depósito (y no llego) se regresa, se sale y mancha la alfombra. También pueden inclinarla dejando encendida durante un minuto para que el agua llegue al depósito completamente y no haya derrames.
El mantenimiento al terminar su uso fue fácil: sacar tanques, quitar boquilla de succión y cepillos, enjuagar todo y dejar secando en algún lugar.
Juzguen ustedes mismos los resultados, les dejo las fotos y video 😉

There isn’t much in the negative colum here the only one I possibly have found is it’s very light weight and to extract to the fullest atleast in my situation sometimes requires a little help by pushing down slightly on handle to get the fullest amount of water extracted but after that the carpet is 95% dry and 99% looking like Brand New.

Positives Brand new looking carpet with not alot of effort the reviewer who mentioned that the counter rotating heads provided a better deeper clean with a fluffy soft finish was 100% spot on it leaves the carpet feeling so nice on bare feet and immediately you feel there’s little moisture left and a quick drying time is imminent my carpet took to completely feel dry to the touch a time of 2 1/2 hours
The cleaning solution is dependant on the operators application if you move slowly constantly keeping the spray on ,which you control by squeezing a lever on the handle you will go through alot of solution and water but you don’t need do that as that’s over saturation and unessary to get a good clean , so it comes down to you as far as how fast you go through cleaner .
I was able to get a whole living room of 600 square feet done with 2 tank fulls of hot water and a small amount of cleaner solution, everyone’s results will very, but I’ve used Comercial and consumer grade carpet cleaners and this is one case where I really don’t see any of them beating this machine by much in any area , atleast not by the results you get compared to the cost you would need to spend to be so much better that you would actually notice it.
To beat the results you get with this machine noticeably you would need to spend around 600 + and it wouldn’t be that much better as to justify the expenditure.
