I haven’t used this yet so it’s hard to review. It’s all plastic but I expected this. Kind of expensive for what it is.

Like the newer model my last one died after many yrs. The steam is powerful easy to maneuver only thing I’m on fence about is handle is very flimsy not as good a quality as the 1st model I just take my time and try not to put to much force on it.

Very easy to use. So far we have steamed our curtains and cleaned tile floors. Works very well

So far, I’ve used all the attachments and both the handheld and standing mop with great success. I like that the pads for the standing mop attach via Velcro. The carpet glider was really useful for steaming a rug that had some spills. I use the handheld to clean my glass shower doors and my gas stove top and grates. While I like the point of the mop head for getting in corners, it would have been nice for the sides to be straight in order to quickly slide against a sidewall but they are not which is a minor inconvenience. All in all, happy with the mop/cleaner so far!

Cheaply made, not worth the money.
The handle feels like it’s going to bend or break.
Can’t get underneath the edge of cabinets because the mop head is too tall.
Not convenient to change out attachments.
It has to be laid on the counter to refill the water, which has to be done often.
I give it one star because the power cord is nice and long. It does heat up really fast.
I guess if you are only trying to “spiff up” your place, it might work. Would not recommend for regular weekly cleaning, especially not made for heavy cleaning. My floor was barely dirty and it made streaks on the ceramic tile. So if it was really dirty, it would have required 2-3 moppings to get rid of streaks. Which would mean you need to buy a bunch of extra pads.

Floors, windows, walls, and more. We have used it all over and have been consistently impressed with the results. Absolutely 0 buyer’s remorse on this one. Great product.

So far have cleaned shower grout, floors and spots on carpet. It works very well and the pads actually get clean when you wash them. I did order extra pads.

Not my first H2O X5 Mop. The last one lasted almost 10 years so I have great expectations about this unit.

I am a clean freak and I love this steam mop. I literally rave about it to my friends. It works so well – I use it on my floors and my upholstered couch. I’ve used a shark steam cleaner and I prefer this one in every way – EXCEPT the life span. I have owned this steam cleaner twice. The first time, I used it for about 2 years before it stopped working. Thinking it was a fluke, I repurchased. It has now been just over a year, and it has again stopped working. I’m so sad about this but I love it so much I’ll probably end up rebuying it again.

I ordered the premium package H2O mop X5 with extra microfiber pads, a carrying strap, and all the attachments. The pads and attachments are fantastic, I highly recommended them. The carrying strap is very useful to sling the base over your shoulder while cleaning with just the base. Now as far as the steam cleaning and the mop itself as a whole. I’ve used it for the past two days all over my house. I love how it cleans and gets into crevices you can’t normally get to, it’s so satisfying. The base itself is lightweight and has a completely AKWARD design. Wait for the redesign!! I used the mop today, it works great. It feels about as sturdy as the store-brand dust mops, the ones that screw together in sections. This is possibly worse. It’s made of cheap hollow plastic. I understand the review I read about the handle snapping in half. I’m vertically challenged (5’3”) and I felt like it might snap. I can only imagine normal-sized adults pushing with any weight at all would definitely snap. It’s a mixed bag with this mop. If you can overlook the cheap materials used in the design, the cleaning performance might outweigh the fact you might break the handle at any moment. I’ve only had it for 2 days so I can’t speak to the longevity of it as a whole.
I would suggest only using distilled water the chemicals and hard water from tap water will clog the steamer. I learned that the hard way with my first steamer.
