Originally bought this for spot cleaning in between actual vacuuming. Wanted something small and quiet so cleaning can be done at any time. This sweeper helps to pick up kitty kibbles, cat fur, crumbs, and hair. Been using it for 1.5 months now and it fulfils the purpose.
The main issue I have with this sweeper is that it gets bent easily even though it is metal. The U-shaped bracket that connects the handle to the sweeper head gets bent easily. A bent U-bracket greatly impacts the functionality of the sweeper.
For one, the grooves (nubs) on the sides get loose if the U-bracket gets bent making the sweeper flip upwards when trying to sweep. The nubs are necessary to prevent sweeper head from flipping up due to friction. When the U-bracket gets bent out of shape, the bracket no longer comes in contact with the nubs on the side making the sweeper useless.
Secondly, the plastic hair removal tool will NOT stay attached when the U-harness is misshapen. This is how I found out that the bracket got bent out of shape in the first place.
The paint is chipping off at the center attachment where the handle meets the bracket. Worried it might break off entirely. This is definitely a sign that the metal is bending out of shape. My guess to why this happens is when one puts too much downward force while sweeping. This sweeper is meant to be used more gingerly in a gliding motion rather than a scrubbing motion.
Given the price of the sweeper is about $80 USD, I gave rating to be 3 stars due to the lack of durability. If price tag wasn’t so high, I would give it 4 stars. The U-bracket truly needs to be thicker/stronger to resist bending out of shape. Guessing the nubs on the side will also wear down in time. Highly doubtful this will last a “lifetime” but definitely better built than plastic.

I bought this to clean up pet hair (dog, cat, and bunny) and bunny hay from my rugs between vacuuming days. I am really pleased with how well it does the job. It’s easy to clean, too. Hopefully, it will be durable, too.

Effective on both short carpets And hard floors. I have both a cat and a dog and this sweeper gets all the dust hair and crumbs off the floor. It is so lightweight and easy to use. I use it every day on all my floors.. The variety of colors enables you to pick your favorite . I have mine hanging on the wall so it’s easy to reach. Fuller brush, design and quality has made another excellent product.

I have to say when I opened the box, I was ready to send it back. It was small and looked like a child’s toy. The photo shows its as wide as a 5lb weight..slightly bigger and smaller than a broom. I bought the pink one. However, once I put it together (easy assembly) I was happily surprised at how well it worked. I have a large RUGABLE brand carpet in my living room and my apartment has wood floors. I have long hair and constantly shedding and I have a tiny teacup dog that just loves to shred up tissues. This worked so well! It picked up sand, dirt, hair and all the tissues from the carpet and all the hair and sand off the wooden floors I couldn’t believe how much dirt there was in the receptacle when I went to empty it. This is well worth the price.

As an owner of four cats, a messy husband and a head full of long, easily detached hair, this has been a wonderful investment.
The way I use this is as a supplement to the rest of the floor routine. The picture I’ve included is after I swept my house and shook my rugs for the week, going back over everything quickly caught that much extra. And let me say it *looked* clean. But cat litter and dirt always leave that layer of fine dust, and there’s always those super fine cat hair dust bunnies, this is basically a static electricity brush that picks it all up.
After I’m done the floor always looks like I’ve mopped it, and feels much much cleaner than just sweeping. I do this once a day and quickly, like maybe ten minutes max for the whole house, and I’m only having to do a real sweep every week and a half or so, and I haven’t pulled the vacuum out for the throw rugs since I’ve gotten this, they look fine, this thing does a nice job of brushing the pile neatly. It feels so much more clean and satisfying to walk on after.
Anyway, no it won’t get larger messes, spills etc. You still need to sweep sometimes, but I’m having to mop and sweep much much less, and my floors feel and look better. This isn’t a necessary item but I don’t regret it at all.

My Dyson burned out on my ruggable. The rug cover is very thin so it sucks into the vacuum. It makes it difficult to clean the ruggable with the dyson. Once it burned out I needed something else not so expensive. My aunt had one of these when I was a kid so when I saw it was still for sale I got one. I decided on this one bc it’s well made and the OG sweeper. It works super well on the ruggable and hardwood surfaces. It gets the fuzzies off the ruggable stitched edges too. I do need to use the broom to get the specks from the wall edges or under the cabinets in the kitchen but this sweeper then picks it up easily.

My apartment has long fiber carpet everywhere that traps a lot of stuff but I have sensory processing issues and vacuums are my nightmare, so I needed something to get down into the carpet and get it as clean as a vacuum would. This thing is so much more effective than I’d hoped, it got clumps of hair, cat kibble spills, and other larger debris out of the carpet with no effort.
The only complaint I have is that the handle segments don’t stay screwed tight no matter how hard I twist and the handle itself is bowed, I feel that for a carpet sweeper this expensive that shouldn’t be the case, but it works so well I don’t mind.
Pros: cleans well, compact, PINK, picks up large and small stuff, no noise
Cons: handle segments constantly loosen, bowed handle, higher price

This sweeper looks almost like a toy because of its small size. Yet it works well, does a good job picking up crumbs, hair, etc. My vacuum cleaner is broken, and I needed something I can use on carpets in the meantime, until I can get the vacuum repaired. I ordered the pink color because it’s cute.
