My grandmother had one of these, and my mother too. I went without one for years but recently I was clearing a table cloth and I realized I should have one as well. There are more expensive ones for sale but even this cheap one completely picks up all crumbs and lint with just a few quick swipes. Works well on couch cushions too.

It does the job for the price you pay but if you don’t empty often enough it will spill and all your work will be ruined you have to sweep it over

We use this to spot clean our guinea pig cage (the poop is never ending). It’s extremely easy to use, picks up the poop pellets very easily, is quickly emptied, and easily cleaned. Great purchase!

This little thing is admittedly kind of flimsy, but it works very well for my purposes. I work in a tiny office with low pile carpet that gets a lot of traffic. The house-keeping staff doesn’t vacuum often, so this little thing helps me touch up my carpet in between clients. It makes a huge difference! So handy that it doesn’t require a power source and is tiny enough to fit in my desk drawer. I recommend emptying it after every use.

Remember mom using a manual carpet sweeper? Just push it over tge area and it picked up all crumbs, hair, etc. Well this is the table version and it really works!! I use it on cloth and vinyl tablecloths, as well as a bare table and it picks up everything. The size is small enough to put in a kitchen drawer. I would buy it again because even the price is great and it’s durable aldo.

After about five weeks this tool is not functional. I bought it to clean up crumbs from cutting loaves of bread. Worked fine initially but now just doesn’t pick up the crumbs well. Came on here to initiate a refund but I was a week late . Stuck with it. Do nit recommend

I’ve seen it in restaurants and decided to get one…it works best on a tablecloth… a smooth finished table, not as well.

I use this at church for all the crumbs that my toddler’s snacks make! It picks up all cheerio and cracker crumbs easily and quickly. It’s small enough to fit in my diaper bag easily. It is easy to use and is simply designed (which, in my opinion, is the best kind of design!).

i love love using this when i have a dinner and dont put a plastic on my tablecloth, but it only works on most fabrics… guess you cant really expect a cheap item like this to be foolproof

I bought this item thinking it probably did not work well, but at the very low price, I could afford to give it a try. I clean the cloth placemats in a large dining room that has slick plastic-topped tables. This little sweeper works perfectly. I was amazed. The dining room I clean has several types of cloth placemats. This sweeper works best on the thicker, stiffer cloth placemats. Even the placemats with grooves where the crumbs can settle in are easy to clean. I was really amazed at that! In fact, the placemats with little grooves make it easier to sweep up the crumbs — the crumbs don’t scoot away. On thin cloth placemats I have to hold the placemat with one hand and use the sweeper in the other hand and only sweep in one direction. Otherwise the sweeper tends to bunch up the thin cloth placement on the slick tables.
The sweeper picks up larger crumbs the quickest and smaller crumbs can take a couple of swipes across the placemat. Small specks of finely ground black pepper (not the ground peper you grind at the table with a pepper mill) that are stuck on a placemat can be difficult. Most black pepper will come off a placemat along with all other crumbs with a few swipes back and forth across a placement. But often there will be one or two specks of finely ground black pepper that will not be dislodged. They don’t come up with my little table broom either, I need to use my finger to dislodge those tiny specks of finely ground black pepper.
I think the sweeper works so well because the stiffness and length of the bristles are just right for its task.
The sweeper comes apart easily for cleaning. I just take it apart and hold it under running water. Perfect.
A surprise good purchase.
