It’s a filter…does the job, well made… as if any Milwaukee devotee would expect anything different? Nothing but heavy duty!

It’s not a bad filter, but the price varies a lot depending on where you find them, for example right now the cheapest option on Amazon is around $30 but they can be had elsewhere for under $20. The manual says you can wash them so that helps them last quite a long time before needing replacement. Other than that it’s a filter, it would be nice if they offered a pre-filter for protection of the filter itself, I’ve damaged at least one from debris moving around inside the vacuum (may have been during transport/use) but that’s more a knock against the vacuum design than the filter itself.

Just want everyone to know that the filter I received is not washable or reusable like it says in the ad . Now I have the hassle of returning

I love this little Milwaukee vacuum. Too bad it’s so hard to find the replacement filters.
Take care of them well. If you get it wet, DO NOT scrub the filter. You will damage a thin plastic film on the surface of the filter element. If it’s wet, just gently rinse water over it. Once it’s dry, used compressed air to blow it off. You’ll get quite a few years of use if you treat it right.

I have many Milwaukee tools including this Milwaukee vacuum but this filter is frustrating because it clogs easily & is very hard to clean.
It works great for dry vacuuming but it is easily clogged when wet.
I figured out I need two because anytime I clean it it must have a da ayatollah or more to dry before use.

Definitely NOT a HEPA filter as it states in the description. We first used this and a cloud of dust filled the air was we vacuumed. Checked the hose and that the filter was on correctly & all was fine. We now can’t use our shop vac in a customers house because this filter is NOT what it says it is.

Great filter. Fits perfectly and being made by Milwaukee it is exactly like the stock one. Recommended to restore performance.
