My daughter did it again … ironed a cotton cardigan on high – that had a percentage of nylon in it. This is the second time my big, new Rowenta iron had the sole plate gunned up. I tried some other iron cleaner and it barely worked. This morning I used a wash cloth and this cream … and the scorched, sticky nylon stuck to the bottom of my iron came right off! I sew a lot of garments each year, and some of them require fusible interfacing. This stuff can get on your iron quite easily, and once it’s on there, it is almost impossible to get off. Enter FAULTLESS Hot Iron Cleaner. I have used this three times now, and am very impressed with its performance. Make sure you iron is hot and that you have an old scrap of cotton terry cloth. Follow the instructions, and – if you’re like me – you’ll get a very clean, shiny face plate on your iron. Yes, there are a bit of fumes, but honestly, they don’t bother me. I highly recommend this product.
