I bought this to replace one very similar. It seems quieter than the older model. The plastic parts seem brittle, like they would break easily; but I have not own this one long enough to say.

This is a great little vacuum. Easy to carry and does a nice job. Very happy with it.
Revising my review: the cannister/ vacuum continues to work just fine. But, the company used cheaper materials when making the hose, extension wands and floor tool. In addition, the extension wands are much longer than they should be which cuts down on the efficiency of the attachments. I have revised my rating down to 4 stars because I have found these features to be very disappointing. I have had several of these vacuum cleaners over many years and this new one is clearly lacking based on the attachments included.

WOW! I inherited my mom’s search for the best vacuum and have had many ! This little gem is awsome! I’ve never had a floor vacuum that has had as much suction as this little guy. It’s hard to find a canister vacuum these days and the uprights just don’t do floors well. It’s perfect! Long wands reach the crown molding that collects dust, picks up every little spec of cat litter. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Buy this and you won’t be disappointed if what your are looking for is the perfect vacuum for floors!

This is a bagged canister vacuum cleaner using Eureka MM bags also available from Amazon. My house has 1297 square feet of living area, mostly with vinyl plank floors with composite tiles in one bedroom and relatively flat commercial carpet in the other two bedrooms. I use the Mighty Mite to vacuum all my floors. Also, I use it to vacuum my furniture. Normally one bag is used for two full vacuumings and it is easy to change. This is much easier than having to clean filters in a nasty bagless vacuum. This Mighty Mite is more powerful, quieter, and fits tighter spaces than my old Mighty Mite in use for over six years (still working but now for garage and car).
