Mr. Why Are You Asking Me To Answer Questions That I Can’t Possibly Know The Answers To? –
First, the machine: I love the Tosca for its much superior steam temperature, (316° as opposed to other brands at around 212 to 220°.) Also, Tosca has much higher pressure, (75 PSI as opposed to 55 or 65 PSI). So you have constant steam at high temperature without having to stop for pressure loss every few minutes. And, the high pressure and high heat last for about 60 minutes (depending on your use and how much water is in the tank). The Tosca also is Commercial Grade, which means that this machine can last a much longer period of time, many years with normal use. I use distilled water only. The manual may say you can use tap water, or a mixture of the two, but I believe that using distilled water is the best for keeping the unit as clean from mineral buildup as possible, and with normal cleaning every 50 days or so, this will protect the machine’s performance and endurance as best as possible. As for its performance, I find it steams off dirt, grime, and areas of baked-on crusty food that may have been sitting on a table top, counter or floor for weeks. It’s not instantaneous, no steam cleaner is able to do that, as a vacuum cleaner would do. It does take a bit of time (a minute or two) to allow the steam to melt the stain or crusty spot first, and then allow the tool you are using – such as one of the brush heads, or one of the included fibre cloths – to gently do its magic by slowly and lightly rubbing the spot a bit at a time, as you watch the old, crusty yuck, gradually liquefy and simply turn into a dirty water that you simply wipe off with a paper towel. And, voilà! The surface is sparkling clean and completely sanitized without the use of any chemicals or even soap. All you used was clean water! The Tosca also comes with a handy fill-bottle, so you don’t need a measuring cup and funnel to get the water into the machine’s tank, as all the other other machines I’ve tried do.
Now, as to the quality of the service – in one word, Excellent. They have a customer service 800 phone number on the included literature, which is answered, in my experience, within seconds of dialling the main number and pushing the correct buttons on your phone pad. The person I dealt with was named Steve. He was courteous, polite, knowledgeable, and all too willing to help. So, my experience with Steve would prompt me, with no hesitation, to give him 5 stars. He helped me tremendously. Needless to say, given my above description of the unit itself, I give that 5 stars as well.
So, thank you Steve, and thank you Dupray. You have made my cleaning experience lighter, shorter, and even fun!

Arrived today and put it to the test cleaning grout. Nothing short of amazing how well this thing cleans. Even with weekly cleanings (bucket, mop, bleach, scrub brush, and soap) grout would never get even close to original beige shade. Looked dark and grimy no matter how harsh of chemicals I’d try. A few seconds of steam through the small nylon brush and the difference was immediate. Grout is back (very close) to the original shade of beige.
Switched over to the large brush head (with no cloth attached) and tried it on the ceramic tiles. Restored them to their original appearance in seconds. Suffice it to say, wet mopping and those wet swift wipes are… ineffective for cleaning. I’ve owned and tried other “steam cleaners” and there is no comparison other than both use water.
Surfaces are warm and wet when your done. We used old towels to wipe everything down.
Pros: Compact, well constructed, does exactly what it’s intended to do. Tons of tools included for almost every task imaginable. No cleaning solutions needed. Hose is surprisingly flexible (even at room temperature) and thin. The hose does get warm, but not hot. Handle and wand get warm too, but not overly hot.
Cons: $$$$ (but you get what you pay for), not too many cleaning clothes included with the unit (we bought the additional kit from the manufacturer, but after seeing how clothes attach, will be looking for aftermarket clothes that can withstand the 316F steam). No cleaning solutions should be added in this model (Need to move up to their professional series for that).
Overall, very pleased with this product and that is only trialing it for an hour.

Loved that this item shipped quickly. It was well packaged. Despite that I did have a small piece broken but the company is sending a replacement. Comes with multiple attachments. I watched a couple videos with regards to using this item, so it was very simple to set up and use. I have had folding chairs For about 20 years and was ready to throw them away because the upholstery was looking terrible. The Steamer clean them amazingly! They look brand new again.

We remodeled the kitchen of our restaurant and in the process discovered grease and grim in places that one would think impossible to clean. Take your time and a have little patience and it will get it clean, even 10 year old baked on grease. I’ve sense used the steamer to remove bbq sauce from window blinds, detailed an engine on classic car, cleaned a chain saw, and the impossible to clean window of my oven at home. Going to try it on tile floors next, but I fully expect it will not disappoint. This is not a complex system, but the build quality is impressive. The “boiler” is solid, and all of the injection molded plastic is of the highest quality and well engineered. The hose and the handle have some textures and details that make them a little hard to keep clean when used in a commercial kitchen, but for home use I’ve not had any problems.

Chose this Dupray Tosca cleaner and it is worth every penny. Have cleaned ALL of the grout in my home and cleaned all of my floors. Did a great job on my Wolf ovens as well. Next project is the area rug in living room and leather couches. Highly recommend.

Heats quickly to over 300 degrees. Cleans good. I have to say it’s overpriced but actually works unlike cheaper models I tried. Biggest complaint is the trigger won’t lock on, but there’s always duct tape…. LOL.

I purchased this as a Mother’s Day gift to myself. 🙂 I feel that it has already paid for itself in several ways: less maid service use, less cleaning product use, less fumes that impact asthma symptoms. It was fairly easy to learn how to use (YouTube videos helped). I like that it uses regular tap water and that I don’t have to buy specific microfiber cloths (or other fabrics) to use it. I have a glass shower (full length glass wall and door) and this makes it easy to wash. I steam it, use a little bit of pressure as a wipe it down with a microfiber cloth and all the soap scum comes right off. (Compare this to have to use Comet, scour with a bristle brush (unable to reach certain corners), and then rinse off again, etc.). I had a few troubles and lessons learned: there is a safety lock to use so you don’t burn yourself while changing attachments, I still prefer using a toilet bowl cleaner since steaming into a toilet bowl of standing water is too messy for me (I’m fine with using it on every other surface of the toilet), I still prefer using a little vinegar on the shower tiles and bath after steam cleaning the shower (to delay a red line of bacteria growth that can happen if not cleaning frequently enough). I’ve used it to clean a heavily greased stove top (a lot of recent cooking with butter), the corners of the clothes washer door, on baseboards, bathroom walls, etc. Surfaces that I never thought to clean before, but look better for it now! And my one buyer beware: this is not a dry steam completely. There is still a great deal of moisture with each cleaning- so I would still patch test it on anything that cannot handle moisture or water droplets. I also had a positive experience with customer service when requesting a replacement part (the hose cracked, exposing wires). Since then, it’s been working well. Best gift to myself.

The steamer works very well,, all the attachments are very easy to put together and self-explanatory. It comes with extensions for carpets, tile, flooring , small corners, etc. I have used it for car rims for flooring for wall tiles in the shower steam cleaned my mattress and my carpets. You can pretty much use it on anything I’ve even used it on my wood floor with the cloth you will be amazed the dirt that comes off of your flooring with this machine.
Customer service was phenomenal every email they answered the same day. It’s steams up within six minutes runs for about one hour of cleaning depending on what you’re using it for but it does last for quite a while if you fill it up again all you have to wait is 6 minutes. I never leave reviews for this I am leaving a review because I am completely satisfied and you know the old saying you get what you pay for yes it’s a little expensive but you get what you pay for. The steam this thing gives out exceeds any 100$ shark or standard mop. You can use this for commercial work also I am completely satisfied with this piece of equipment because of the ease of use, the steam it puts out,,, no waiting for it to heat up… end it cleans very very well if you take care of your equipment it will last a very long time, just like anything else.
