I had hoped this would be more effective than my poor-performing Oreck car vac, and I liked that it was USB. However, though the charging and use without a cord is convenient, it isn’t any better than the Oreck at picking up anything.

It’s very small. Much smaller than I expected. But it works well on very light vacuuming. Worked well cleaning out my glove box, but I mainly wanted it to clean my blinds. I’ll keep it but it’s smaller than I thought.

I needed something small and powerful to clean up around and under my desk. I don’t want to use the larger vacuum because of cables and whatnot. This comes with a decent amount of attachments for any job you might have. I found the suction to be adequate for what it is. If I have a complaint it’s that in order to get the cat hair out of the container, I had to use the handle of a small paintbrush. Banging the container on the side of the trash did nothing. The suction really packed that stuff in there! I don’t know how well this will hold up over time, but for now, it’s perfect for my needs.

I’ve bought my fair share of cordless vacuums over the years, but somehow, they all disappeared into the great vacuum abyss – aka borrowed by family and friends, never to be seen again. Recently, I managed to purchase one that I successfully hid, but lo and behold, my retired spouse found it! Now, he constantly “borrows” it to clean his truck, which, in all fairness, I didn’t mind too much since his truck only got cleaned if I did it.
So, when I received this Sweetone Handheld Car Vacuum through the Amazon Vine program, I knew exactly who the lucky recipient would be: my spouse, for his birthday! And I was thrilled! It arrived quickly, well-packaged, and inside the box was the vacuum, a USB-C charging cable, various attachments, and a manual that even us ‘oldies’ in our 60s (okay, 69 going on 70 with arthritis) could easily follow. Right out of the box, this little powerhorse looked and felt like excellent quality – lightweight yet sturdy and so easy to hold and use.
Despite its compact size, it’s impressively powerful, with three mides: high, medium, and low. It picks up everything from dirt and dog hair to who-knows what my spouse collects in his truck. The best part? It’s cordless and rechargeable, no more playing hide-and-seek with extension cords!
What I love most is that my spouse no longer “borrows” my vacuum – he’s too busy hiding this one in his truck (like I wouldn’t find it, lol). It charges quickly (about 2 hours) and lasts a solid 20 minutes on high, perfect for all his new vacuuming hobbies, which now include our sofas, thanks to our four rescue Chihuahuas who shed like crazy, despite regular grooming. The attachments make it versatile, and it even has a built-in LED light for those dark nooks. Bonus? It can blow or suck, and yes, it inflates things too! Cleaning the dust chamber is a breeze, and the reusable filter is easily rinsed.
I never thought I’d see the day when my spouse was excited about cleaning, but here we are. He even helps clean up after our grandchildren’s messes – and they love using it too! Best gift I could’ve given him… and, in a way, myself. It’s very reasonably priced for the quality, practicality, and versatility it offers, making it an ideal giftfor any occasion. This is the first time for me to see the designer use the blowing effect of any vacuum so elegantly. You decide if to use this unit as a vacuum, or as a blower. It depends on the attachments you put on this unit.
They have attachments for any vacuuming or blowing task, small – not a whole house 😊
The included sticker reminds the user that this is a vacuum, and you must place the filtering unit in place. We are used to the same filtering design, a bit larger scale from our portable cordless vacuums. Still, a mistake was made, I caught it on time and reprimanded the user.
The battery has enough power for our car and can be even used for light stuff in the office or other rooms.
The unit is lightweight, very easy to reach corners, and a blessing after each camping trip. We love it.
