For my Money –
I purchased this item for two reasons, one it was made for commercial use, and two the 50′ length of cord. Most steam mops cost $100 or less, this one was $117.00., I didn’t really save anything on the purchase. For a “so called” commercial ” steam mop.. there is no other way to say it.. its junk made in China out of cheap plastic. I do have a good opinion of Bissell Products, but this item leaves me really disappointed, even the handle is made of plastic. The only saving grace is that I did not have to pay for shipping or any taxes. I just hope it works better than it looks, otherwise it will go back.Update: 19 Aug 2018, I have used this once, first the tank says use distilled water only, if I had know this I would not have purchased it. Other steamers work fine with tap water. Secondly it leaves too much water on the floor. Third, the scrubber is useless, I found you have to lower and raise it by hand, If I wanted to bend over and slop water all over the place I would use a pail of water and the old smelly mop. The brush is only a good idea if I don’t have to pick it up to lower and raise it or bend over to lower and raise it., and in the end it didn’t do a very good job. Also many steam mops have a head that flips over so you can use the other side of the scrubbing pad. This only has one usable side, so when it gets really dirty, you can not flip it over, you have to change the pads using more than one at a time, For instance, I don’t want to use the same side of a pad in my bathroom and then use it in the kitchen with Shark steamers you don’t have to change the pad. Finally, the head is designed so that there is an open or hollow space between the pad and the head this allows water to accumulate and remain on the underside of the head even after you have removed the pad , so now you have dripping water when you put it away. Over all this is a real piece of crap. It is a poor design and does a terrible job. I would give it 0 stars if I could

Love this steamer. The long cord is such a convenience. Only need to plug in once to do a very large area. I’ve used a smaller shark for years and thought I was cleaning my floors. Didn’t realize I wasn’t til I used this. Wow! What a difference. I think it might use a little more water… but apparently that’s necessary for deep cleaning. Of course water usage can be adjusted with a quick push of a button. Big bonus… it stands up on its own… don’t need to lean it on something for it to slip and fall over. A great purchase. Definitely recommend!

This steam mop is miles ahead of newer more expensive models that have entered the market since the pandemic. Other brands are hyped and over priced. Our place of worship has used this model for years and years and only failure is the water reservoir cap if tightened down too hard. Just ordered same model for our home which is entirely tile. I wanted a steam mop that can take daily use. It works beautifully. The long commercial cord reaches almost my entire house. The pads included work well and I will order more directly from Bissell to have on hand. Love how sturdy the mop feels and how the handle doesn’t have a goofy backwards bend feature or short handle for especially petite people. I am tall and appreciate a good length handle on cleaning tools. This cleans grout and tile or laminate floors with ease. It shuts off almost instantly and let out very little steam when finished (tho I recommend setting it on a water hog mat or safe place while it cools after use). I HIGHLY recommend this product ESPECIALLY at just over a hundred bucks. Used a model recently that was literally triple the price of this guy that a friend bought at a home show and was not impressed by the inferior plastic parts or cleaning gusto. Bissell nailed it!

I have ceramic tile floors and this steam clean does a great job of keeping them clean. The electric cord is long and can reach a good distance without me having to constantly unplug it. When you do unplug and move to another area, it takes several minutes for the steam to build up again. Not a problem just an slight annoyance if you are in rush to get the floors done. The water container is large and I only have to fill it about once every three uses. This is my second steam cleaner. I bought another Bissell because the other one worked really well. My mistake was I didn’t use distilled water. Makes a big difference on how long your steam cleaner will work. Mine lasted about six years. Probably would have still been working today had I not used water straight from the faucet. Distilled water only runs about $2 a gallon and it will last probably six months. Well worth the purchase to get the most out of this steamer. It is simple to use and the directions are well-written.

**UPDATE** It lasted a total of 7months. I bought because I needed to use daily and figured it was not a true “commercial” appliance, but DID EXPECT it to last longer then 7months, 5 working appropriately, 1 working half baked, and 1 basically saturating the pad immediately with at best warm water.
It works great and definitely gets to at least 140-180 degrees. The floor feels warm even with a fast pass. The cord was only 30ft but commercial grade. The only disappointment is due to the heavier cord. The unit does not stand well and falls easily. The bottom foot is the exact same size/shape as their Power Fresh. I bought a off brand 10-12 pack of the pads and they fit fine. I’ve been using both for about 6 months and am satisfied. This unit although well made, is not truly commercial grade in my opinion. Also, the scent discs are a waste of engineering. They do not give any scent.
