Frustrated –
shameful excuss for a vacuum. it doesn’t pick up anything. simply shoots debree backwards onto your shoes. bissell should refund everyone who purchased this vacuum. this one purchase will keep me from buying any bissell vacuum. on average i buy a dozen vacuums per year for my business but never again will it be a bissell – they must know this doesn’t work but they keep selling it. SHAME ON THEM!

This machine is very similar to the Sanitare vacuums we used to buy. Between this and the 1937t we buy, they work great.
Ive had 2 units for approx. a year. Aside from having to change belts frequently (which is common with these type of machines), I have had no issues.

Dislike it greatly because it came with NO hardware to put handle and cord on. So we called to get replacement parts and 4 weeks later we are still waiting. We put it together with store bought bolts and it performs like a rebuilt vacuum rather than a brand new one as it is supposed to be. It propels dirt rather than vacuuming it up. And it is noisy: squeaks and makes shrill noises the entire time it’s running. We will absolutely be returning this item and will NOT purchase another one.

Overall pretty good vacuum to use daily. The belt breaks often and the vacuum tends to over heat. Thought it would be nicer for the price.

I do not like this vacuum at all. I have had nothing but problems with it. The rubber hose attachment if you can get it attached is extremely tight and has ripped. I replaced the part and the unit pickup container had to be lowered so as to not put undue pressure on the rubber hose. Now it is smelling hot all the time.
