Hubby cleans our 4 bldgs and hated dragging vacs around.
Tried Dyson, Electrolux and a cheapie but all had issues.
This is his favourite.
We recently ordered extra turbo heads. Clean one brush while using another.
So far he’s happy.Bags are so easy to install and this machine sucks a lot of dirt.
Like the telescopic wand feature.

I love this new addition to my cleaning supplies I’m a housekeeper and this has helped me so much I do recommend buying a 50ft cord as well it helped me reach allot of areas of the home without replugged . If you looking for good vacuum lines the attachment doesn’t give the best lines but it definitely picks the dirt up.

We just received our first Atrix vacuum. We own several models of Proteam backpacks for our cleaning company. We decided to try something different and more economical because we are constantly having to repair our Proteam vacs, mainly switches (every year) and occasionally EXPENSIVE motors, among other small problems like our side filters constantly getting blown out of the filter doors. Our cleaners often complain about how cumbersome Proteam vacs feel when they are advertised to be easy to use and ergonomic. (I also use these vacs and know them like the back of my hand. And In my experience, it seems that the ergonomics break down pretty quickly with use.) These issues led me to seek out another alternative to meet our cleaning standards and cleaner needs.
I set-up my Atrix vacuum today and gave it a test run. Immediately, I noticed that the backpack mount and ROBUST velcro waist band is a huge support. The vacuum felt light, and I was able to easily move around. I really appreciated the handle that attached to the hose and above the pole attachment. It made for a natural experience. The vacuum didn’t rotate/shift on my back what-so-ever. (It was a contrast I wasn’t use to.) Suction and power seems very good (tested on carpet and hard floor). I used the spinning brush attachment on durable hard floor in the kitchen. No noticeable debris kickback for random crumbs, a popcorn kernel or 2, and other small bits. The vacuum is on the quieter-ish side when compared to the power it seems to have. I sent the vacuum off with the cleaners to use today.
Attachments for this model look okay and haven’t been tested. I will probably purchase their Pro-grade hair brush tool. I am throughly happy that this vac came with a spinning floor tool and all-purpose floor tool without an additional cost.
The construction seems solid. I am curious how it will handle the ware-and-tear of moving from job-to-job. (We own a residential and commercial mobile cleaning business. Every couple hours or so, we are on to the next job.)
Anyone who operates backpack vacs knows the problematic extension cord issue. Vertical hanging clips don’t always hold in place, and cleaners end up stressing the vacuum, power cord, and extension cord by tying the extension cord around the power cord. It’s a huge no-no, but it happens out of necessity and annoyance when the extension constantly breaks free from the power source during use. Atrix has created a cool solution by permanently mounting a horizontal clip that provides (so far) the best support and tension I’ve seen. The extension prongs fit very, VERY snugly into the power cord.
Lastly, I really appreciate the cloth-like debris collection bag. The interior of the vac seems very well sealed to prevent dust from escaping and infiltrating to the internal parts.
In conclusion, so far, so great! However, I still have a lot of observing to do. Proteam’s vacuum uses a very durable plastic body construction that can take some beating. I don’t know if Atrix plastic body will hold up or not. It appears more ridged. Time will tell. Power/suction seemed good during the test run, but how will it hold up over time? How/when will it deteriorate as the bag and/or filters fill? How long will the rotating spin brush hold up? (I had issues with Proteam’s attachment dying on me fairly quickly.) What will the suction be like when using the attachments? I will update my review once we’ve spent a little more time. That said, first impressions: I’m impressed!

So, honestly I follow people on a social media platform and I saw a lady using one like this, hers was a bit on the $$$$ so I looked over the reviews on this backpack vacuum and most of the reviews were great, I don’t always go by other people reviews I like to try the product myself. I bought a 40ft extension cord and was able to get most of my house vacuumed before having to move to another outlet. I have to say, as of now I love it and will be recommending to all my friends and family.

First off, the cord isn’t 6 feet, probably not even 3. You’ll need an extension cord for whatever you plan to do. You’ll also want a small bag/box/container for all the attachments and spares. I specifically bought this to clean the stairs, and corners in the garage. A blower in the garage just stirs up the dust.
Anyways, really good suction. It has a relief valve that you can open to take pressure off the motor. I’m a big guy with XXL shirts and the belt and straps adjust to accommodate plus sizes. I can do the stairs so much faster since I don’t have to keep moving a regular vacuum. every 2-3 steps. 4 stars because of lack of accesssory bag and not accurate description on the cord length.

Perfect for smal jobs and every day maintenance. Very good succion and fast ajusting for floors to stares. Only thing missing I find is an attachment for the sholder straps to stop it from foling off when you bend over on one side. Wand could be a bit longer too but maby I’m just too tall.

My new backpack vacuum just arrived and I’ve just cleaned house with it and it is absolutely fantastic! I just moved across the country and needed a new vacuum and was torn as to whether to get an upright or a canister. I lean toward canisters because it’s easier to get under stuff and I don’t ever have wall to wall carpeting. But I do have oriental rugs and canisters usually either have very poor carpet attachments, no carpet attachments, or ones that are so clunky and difficult to use with elaborate wiring systems going up the wand etc. that they end up breaking down early on.
So I was surfing through all the Amazon vacuums trying to decide what to do, when I came across backpack ones. There were several brands, some very high end and many were really heavy (I’m not a big person and I’m getting pretty old too. heh). I ended up picking this one because it was the lowest weight one in the mid-range price. Along with it, I ordered a long extension cord and extra bags. (I noticed all backpack vacuums come with a short cord, which makes sense because everyone has different cord length needs depending on their needs. This way the extension cord can be anchored right on the vaccum)
Anyway, long story short, I got the straps adjusted, read the manual, put it on and gave it a test run, and it was simply amazing! With it on my back, there are no worries about dragging a canister around furniture or the hose getting pulled out from hanging up on something. You have to sort of keep an eye on where you are dragging the cord so as not to get all tangled, but it was no problem. And the vacuum really SUCKS! A LOT! In anything else, that is a bad point, but in a vacuum, it’s the most important feature, right? Here are the things I like best about this vacuum:
1) Good suction. Seems to have a lot of power.
2) weight is nice and low. It was very comfortable on my back and I’m an old lady, so I think anyone would not find this difficult weightwise.
3) Construction. It seems really durable. The wand is solid metal and the hose and hose handle are very nicely designed and seem more substantial than other vacuums. The case is plastic but thick enough to be very durable. It just seems very well built for the price. The backpack frame is light but durable and well shaped for comfort.
4) Toolbelt. One of the things I have always hated about most canisters is the tool attachment holders are always awful and you go to get your crevis tool to get beside the fridge and find it fell off somewhere back in one of the bedrooms. Well, that problem is OVER with this thing. Part of the backpack strapping stuff is a very nicely padded wide waist belt, and on the front of it are loops to hold your attachments. When you need one, it’s right there in front of you!
5) Rug/carpet attachment. I am extremely impressed with this. It is not electrified but it DOES have beaters that are run by the suction power. Very clever! It does a beautiful job on my large and small area oriental rugs and I think it would work on carpeting as well as any upright!
6) loop to keep your extension cord from unplugging. A nice feature!
All in all, I could find nothing wrong with this machine. The bags and filters seem easy to change/clean and the dirt-bag is as big as in many canisters. (I don’t imagine you’d want too big a bag as that would be added weight). There is an added “shake out” bag that is washable, and a very nice Washable HEPA filter underneath it directly protecting the motor. There is also a washable intake filter on the outside which also protects the motor.
