While it does clean well, it’s difficult to do because of the quality this mop is. The joints in the handle are weak so it jiggles a lot while using. The black triangle frame that goes over the mop pad hinders all corner cleaning and the middle of the pad is concave so it rarely makes contact with the floor. The plastic hook of the Velcro on the mop head tears up the loop on the mop pad so it constantly falls off. The corners of the mop pad have no way to be secured without the black plastic frame (which is pointless) so the corners always fold up on themselves. The cord is so short, maybe 8 ft or so. It gets the job done but it’s way more of a hassle than it needs to be because of the low quality.

I think I will keep this unit. I have now tried 3 other units and can list pros and cons but I will note my reasons and concerns.
I had 2 different flat rectangular pad units from Amazon. They were actually visually the same though very different in price but I am returning them both because the steam is diffused too much through the pad. I never felt they completely steamed the floor nor did the steam get through all the pad. I only used them to clean my floors. There were no carpet attachments.
I had an H2O X5 steam mop that is VERY similar to this one but almost 3 times the cost. They gave me no support with my issues (like a torn cover) so I returned it though it did work on the floors, tiles and my couch.
Now this unit which so far I have only used on my floor:
CONS – The cord is way too short – you need an extension. There is only one floor pad.
PROS – You can SEE the steam and feel the cleaned heated tile floor – none of my other units did this. It is light and stands up between uses.
I will order a pack of pads…seems replacements wrap around the head unit, which should give a little extra cleaning surface, though I am not complaining.
I see no warranty on the unit but for the price I am happy. I think I now prefer the triangular swivel head, too.
I will update if things change, and as I try it on grout and my couches. It appears very similar to the H2O – maybe a little better, but both could be sturdier built.
Also – the 350ml water reservoir will come OFF to be refilled which is very nice!
