I don’t not recommend this sweeper.
Handle is cheap and bad quality.

Assembly was fairly easy. Some sections ,although not labeled or indicated , fit together , better than others, while “assembling” the metal handle “sections”. The slight resistance while pushing across the carpet gives hope that cleaning will take place. YES!, most forward motion reveals a cleaned carpet. A slight “refreshed” appearance “trail” is visible to encourage the novice user. Sometimes a piece of debris is not “brushed” into the “collector containment ” area. Another forward and backward motion brings desired results. Emptying the “collection containers” as shown in instructions, is easy over an open waste basket. The size of the unit is small. This helps as a larger size would demand extra effort which the handle, in my opinion, would not support for a very long time.
The small plastic “brushes” at each corner help to drag debris out into the open floor for “pick up” with another push over the area. UPDATE: 3. days of activity and performance is great. Even used the sweeper on tile floor, which was also great and easy to do. Two of us using this sweeper and both of us are very pleased with this product.

I have two cats and my carpets are fur magnets. I use the sweeper once a week instead pulling out my vacuum. It’s lighter and more convenient. It also does an excellent job and empties easily. Now I vacuum once a month. I only wish the bristle cleaning tool was better. Still a good buy!

I took off a couple of stars for the sweeper because it doesn’t work very well on high pile carpet and even on low pile carpet you have to go over a few times to pick up what you need to pick up however this is with many of the carpet sweepers sold these days they just don’t make them the way they used to. As for the construction it is constructed very well it’s very strong and well made
