   This is pretty much an older Kenmore Progressive design with an even more classic power nozzle. It follows you well and the handle is comfortable. It has enough power that I actually needed to set the proper height adjustment for my carpet otherwise it was quite hard to push. This also is a sealed HEPA system. All the air passes through the exhaust HEPA filter and then is directed back into the body of the machine, using the shell like a muffler. Not too loud at all. It cleans very well and the attachments work great. The basic upholstery tool was discontinued, but it does come with a powered upholstery/stair tool that will work better in most cases.

   Please use genuine HEPA bags to keep the inside clean and help the motor last longer. Also be sure to clean the seals/gaskets on the bag dock each time you change it and insert the bag fully. This older style dock can leak if you don’t have some basic (and easy) care. Paper bags filter poorly and reduce power, so avoid them. This also uses Kenmore HEPA bags.

   Overall, if you are looking for an older style Kenmore, but new, this is it.

   This vacuum cleans like a boss. Absolutely a gem and I can’t believe how well it works. I’m so glad that I can finally get my entire house clean again.
