This one replaces a previous model (SF-142) that finally stopped working after several years. Liked the mop so purchased another one (newer model). Steams fast but mop pad is smaller than previous model. No extra mop pad included. Has adjustable handle height. Manufacturer does give great service and support,

Not as big of a cleaning surface as the older models …….not as good steam delivery …..less time steaming …runs out of water faster….seems not as hot……not in love like i was with the older model which i am now taking to repair shop to beg for help….
This one cost more for less than half the usefulness …..

Love the steamer. Works well! Leaves my cream colored tile looking perfect! It takes just a little while to heat the water. Using an extension chord will allow larger coverage and you’ll only have to stop to add water (;

The product worked great for several uses and out of nowhere just stopped working for no apparent reason.

I bought their older model. It was around the same price but heavier, solid and really cleaned. I had it 11 years and used it in ever room every week on my sealed hardwood floors. I was able to buy extra pads. I almost cried when it finally stopped working. I bought this and it is garbage. I used it once and it doesn’t clean near as well. The head is much smaller and the unit is cheaply made. I’m calling Amazon to see it I can return it. I guess I’m going to have to go shop and look at ever cleaner to make sure it has what I need! I would pay twice as much to have the old one back!

I fell in love with my daughter’s steam mop, but the price tag on hers was out of my reach. This steam mop is more bare-bones in features, but it’s also more affordable. That’s okay because my needs are minimal—all I have to clean is a hallway and three bathroom floors. I found the unit was easy to assemble (less than five minutes) and the owner’s manual offers concise, well-written information about operation, storage, mineral build-up, trouble-shooting and product support. The mop is just as easy to operate—fill the small tank with distilled/de-mineralized water and turn on. It’s that simple—the machine makes a few noises while heating up (takes about 30 seconds) and during operation, but that’s to be expected. End results are noticeably cleaner floors, and I didn’t have to bend over or get down on my knees to get them that way. For this alone, the mop deserves five stars.
That said, I am deducting one star for misleading information. The box the mop comes in says two microfiber mop pads are included, but the owner’s manual says only one comes with the unit, and one is all I received. It’s machine washable, but I wish the company honored what the outer box offers. Worse yet, I can’t find replacement pads for this model—perhaps the mop is too new, and replacement pads will soon be on the market. The manual lists the replacement pad number as A162-002, but I can’t find them here on Amazon, on the manufacturer’s website or anywhere. Fortunately, there is an 800 number to call for direct inquiries—I may have to use it should this single pad not hold up for as long as I’d like. I do wish the pad was more like my daughter’s, which is elasticized and entirely wraps around the mop head. This one adheres to the head with velcro strips—I can only imagine repeated washings will make the strips less and less likely to hold tight. But for right now, this pad is working just fine.
The mop has a two year limited warranty. If your needs are like mine (light) this is a very portable and easy to use mop. My daughter has a 5000 sq. foot house full of stone and sealed wood floors—she uses a more heavy duty Bissell model for her workload.

Products very unstable, not durable.

We have ceramic tile in our kitchen, and it’s a light beige. No matter how I clean this floor, I’m never totally happy with the result. This was my first experience with a steam mop. My hope was that I would use this and my floors would magically be sparkling clean, with no trace of ground-in dirt/wear in the high traffic areas.
With that expectation in mind, I quickly assembled the mop, which took all of about 5 minutes. I filled it up with the provided measuring cup, which came in handy. (The hole in which you pour in the water is VERY small, so be sure to hold on to that cup!) I applied the mopping pad, (easy-peasy), and plugged it in.
It took a few minutes to get used to the feel of it and for the mopping pad to get wet. Because this mop is lightweight, it’s easy to maneuver around to get to those hard to reach spots. However, in the high traffic areas, this mop’s performance was not as good as I expected. It did seem to brighten those spots a little bit, but it did not remove all of the dirt. Because of this mop’s lightweight construction, you cannot bear down on it and REALLY scrub, if that makes any sense? At one point, I felt like I might snap the shaft in half because I was trying so hard to scrub.
Once I was finished, my floor did look great but there was no shine to it. I get that this is a steam mop, but somehow I did expect my floors to be shiny when I was done, but they were not. I repeated this process again for the second week and had the same results.
I like the fact that I know my floors are deep-down clean, no germs or bacteria could live through the application of the steam. I like the fact that this is lightweight and easy to maneuver, while at the same time, being disappointed at how much did NOT come up off the floor. I will continue to use it, but I will go back over the trouble spots with my Swiffer or my regular old mop.
