I have 2 Australian Shepherds this vacuum does a decent job pucking up their hair, the pet pick up accessory attachment is the best I used, until it broke, along with vacuuming when on carpet. Thank God I don’t have thick carpet, except one throw rug. Even if someone stands on it , it won’t move, just sucks so hard it sucks up the rug to the point you can’t vacuum. Ran over the cord the first month I had it, on accident. Chewed up the cord to the wires, electrical tape to the rescue. But the carpet rotator, the green light, or red when something is wrong and the pet hair accessory all stopped working while I was vacuuming the couch. The hose is made of something weird and will pull the vacuum over, usually on my shin or thigh. Yes it’s uncomfortable and causes bruises! This is my 3rd shark upright vacuum and the quality has gone down! Only thing I can say is they do have great suction! Did not come with instructions or warrenty papers, so now what to do?? Purchased brand new!!

Not meant for thick carpet. Would grab/suck with force and not let go. Double checked all coverings removed and they were. Did great on hard wood.

The vacuum seems to suck up dirt ok, but not the best at it. But being a refurb it doesn’t seem to be the best choice for me to have made. The words/directions/labels are rubbed off in spots. It’s missing the piece that holds the hose, so it flops while vacuuming. The piece that holds the power cord is always flopping down. Kind of seems I could get something better at goodwill.

This Shark ZU100 vacuum isn’t loud. Value for this used vacuum is still too high. Good suction it hit and miss. Make cleaning ease for carpet and floors. It not ease to push across the carpet it’s quite heavy. Ease once it goes. Doesn’t smell the neutralizer sense but it’s a good thing that the cartridge has to be replaced every 6 months found out it’s expensive so remember to order two the others will dry up before using them.
