I was so excited to try this steamer since it was so different then the rest, but wow it left so many streaks. The picture between my bed and the dog bed I had gone over a 2nd time with Bona just to see if it would help. Unfortunately I couldn’t even finish the rest of the house due to all the streaks which makes it look much dirtier.
I will be returning this.

Using Deep cleaning mode, this did a great job removing stains from my porcelain tile stains. Note that in Deep clean mode, there’s a lot of steam, and enough water left behind on the floor, that it took over 30 mins. before my floor dried. There was so much steam that while in use, I couldn’t really see through the clear plastic cover for the dirty water.
In my photo, I have the individual parts outdoors to dry out. There are several pieces to keep track of, depending on how thoroughly you want to dry out:
1. cover
2. water bottle
3. water bottle cap
4. debris tank
5. brushroll
6. vacuum itself
Fortunately there’s a place on the storage stand, just for the brushroll.
The cover, debris tank, and roller , I was able to easily dump out and rinse in the sink. So you will still get your hands a little dirty disassembling the parts and rinsing. But not nearly as bad as manually cleaning the dirty pad of my old Haan steam cleaner (which I never just put in the washing machine because that seemed like a big waste of energy). This Shark, everything can simply be rinsed, no wringing needed.
All parts are easy to reassemble.
For me, the only bad experience is removing the water tank. There are not any tips about it. I was originally trying to pull the tank straight out, and that is very, very difficult. After finding a Shark video online, I now understand to simply snap the water tank forward, not upward. Still, it makes a very loud click, and all the parts here are plastic, so this is the mechanism I would have the most concern about, when it comes to longevity.
UPDATE: after multiple uses, the water tank is now natural and easy to remove/reinsert. The end of the roller does get long hair twisted onto it , which causes a roller jam error. Good thing there’s a little sticker on the front for the error blinking codes. This gizmo has removed decades-old difficult stains off bathroom tiles!

Absolutely love this steamer!!! I used the deep clean option and it did great. Picking up more debris even though I vacuumed before using. Easy to clean after use and more lightweight than the purple steamer. Dries at pretty decent pace. It did leave small puddles around but that doesn’t bother me.

Love this product!!!!! I truly think it’s worth every penny. The problem is……… no replacement parts for this particular item. So suggestion before you buy. Think twice. If I knew the replacement items were unavailable through Amazon and the retailer I would never have spent the money!

I used this on a laminate floor space (laundry / pantry area), which was exceptionally dirty. This area gets a ton of outside traffic and also seems to collect all the pet hair the house has to offer. It was a tall order to ask of any device to collect all the hair (and debris) and also leave the floors sanitized. I was pleasantly surprised.
The steam function was phenomenol. You could tell the floor was getting a heavy does of steam and it definitely looked and felt cleaner afterwards. The typical ‘grit’ of the outside being all over the floor was definitely gone. It had a shine to the laminate afterwards.
There were some areas that I had to sit over / go over several times to get to pick up (wet hair balls), which wasn’t surprising to me, however if they could get the suction power up to a bit more snuff, this thing would be a force to reckon with.
The disassembly for cleaning couldn’t be easier. Like anything else that gets wet, expect to get your hands dirty to make sure you get it all out of the resevoirs. There’s no knocking stars for this, as there is no way around it.
I was very happy with the vertical stand for the mop to dry on.
The cable length was more than sufficient to cover any room I can think of. I was never in danger of not having enough power cord reach.
I only used about half of the resevoir of water on my steam cleaning test (about 200 sq. ft) and I definitely was thorough with it.
This thing will definitely replace the legacy mop, at least for my kitchen and laundry room / pantry area. Well done!
