I’ve had a robot vacuum for about 3 years. I liked it. It was off brand and it had the little bin you had to clean daily. It was fine. I really liked it. But OMG THIS ONE IS SO GOOD! Please note I got it 50% off otherwise I wouldn’t have spent the money on it, but having it now, I’d buy it again! It works so much better and I love that it self empties. I have a large lab who is blowing his coat right now and my other vacuum died about 2 weeks before I got this one so it had its work cut out for it. It did not disappoint! The set up wasn’t horrible and you can put it on a schedule from your phone. It works with the magnet tape stuff to keep it out of specific areas. I have only tried this on hardwood. I have a small rug but the font door but I have not tried it on carpet other than that. But it does amazing sweeping for me. Highly recommend especially to my pet owners!

I am very picky about my purchases and I do not review products but I felt the need to review this one. I was hesitant to buy this because I bought one when they first came out and I did not like how it cleaned. The machine was all over the place, would get stuck on rugs and practically everything and had no sense of boundries unless you placed strips down, which looked awful. It also did not seem to pick up much. After looking at this new one multiple times I finally purchased it. I LOVE IT!!! IT IS AMAZING. It is fast, it moves straight up and down lines to get every area, it leaves vacuum marks (love that), it goes over my THICK rugs not just thin without getting stuck. It stops at my step drop off and does not fall, you can program it when you want it to vacuum, it picks up everything. SUGGESTION: Make sure your cords are picked up or they will be dragged and pull stuff down. Also it empties the tank by itself, it says you only need to empty it every 30 days but I do it once a week to keep the suction. Picks up pet hair too!!! AMAZING!!!

I have a golden retriever and 3 cats so to say I have a lot of animal fur would be an understatement. My entire house is hardwood floors and sweeping multiple times daily was getting exhausting. I did a lot of research to find a robot vacuum that would meet our needs and decided to order this Shark after reading many reviews. The suction power is great, almost too great, as my brush does need to be cleared a lot. The dustbin holds a lot of, and I don’t have to empty it as often as I thought. The set up was easy, and I do like that there’s an app so I can run the Shark even if I’m not home. It doesn’t have any specific mapping or any ability to just clean a certain area, but at the time I didn’t think I would need that and I’m not sure that I would at this point either. I like that you can set the suction power as there are some days there’s a lot more kid crumbs and animal shedding and setting it on full power works really good. I love that the shark will go self empty after a certain amount of time. I have it set so it will charge back up and then finish up afterwards. It can get into many places, sometimes it seems like it gets a bit “confused” and it can sometimes miss an area, but then get it on the next run so I’m not sure if that’s a sensor issue or what. Overall, I love my robot and it has saved me so much time and it has saved my back from sweeping multile times daily.

First off it’s just my husband and me with our 6 pets. I have hardwood floors, 2 dogs; one of which sheds like crazy, and 2 indoor cats and 2 indoor/outdoor cats.
It was easy to set up. Took maybe 5 mins. The app is easy to use and very simple. I don’t have to babysit this one, unlike my old one that got stuck all the time or lost in a room. It’s scheduled to start in the morning when I get up for work. All I have to do is pick up any cat or dog toys that got drug out and empty the dustbin. I like that it talks to you when there is a problem. It’ll tell you what’s wrong so you don’t have to figure it out. The only time it did that was when it picked up a dog treat that the dogs missed and it jammed up the roller. Took the treat out and pushed clean and away it went. It also sends messages through the app. But most of all I like the row-by-row vacuuming. It maps out your house and you can see where it vacuumed. Does a pretty good job at covering the entire house in about 45 mins. It will go empty its dust bin then go back to where it left off and continue vacuuming. Sometimes it makes no sense what it’s doing or where it’s going but it’s a machine, not a person so it’s only as smart as the person who programmed it. 😉 As long as I run it every day it does a good job of keeping up with the pet hair on the living room rug. Otherwise, it doesn’t have enough power to pull up all the pet hair. But I tell people they’re not designed to replace your vacuum, they just help keep it clean in between cleanings. Now with all this pet hair, it picks up every day, there is no way you only have to empty the dustbin once a month. I have to empty it at least once a week. Oh, and it’s super loud when it’s emptying itself and it definitely isn’t quiet while vacuuming. While it is quieter than a regular vacuum but it’s no quieter than the robot vacuum it replaced. I have carpet in the bedrooms and I’m sure it helps but they still need the real deal every few days. Overall I do like it better than the old one but honestly, I can’t say that it cleans any better though it might be more thorough. The only reason it’s better is that it is less of a hassle for me to operate and while it is running. If you’re looking for an easy to use robot this is a good choice.
