I recently purchased [Vacuum Brand] vacuum cleaner with high hopes for keeping my home tidy and clean. However, after only a few uses, it has become abundantly clear that this product falls far short of expectations.
The vacuum started off promisingly enough, efficiently sucking up dirt and debris with relative ease. However, after just a handful of uses, it suddenly malfunctioned, emitting a deafeningly loud noise that rendered it completely unusable. To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement.
What’s worse is that I’m now faced with the frustrating task of trying to get it exchanged or repaired. As a consumer, I expect products to function as advertised and to be backed by reliable customer service. Unfortunately, this vacuum has failed on both counts.

Second purchase of the Sanitaire SC899H in a decade. The original still runs after 10 plus years of cleaning and abuse by my staff and multiple interns. It has been a consistent ally in my battle against dust bunnies and dirt. I can honestly and whole heartedly recommend this vacuum to anyone who needs to daily clean a variety of high traffic surfaces. It has good suction and although a little noisy it works like and champ!

I have been cleaning carpet for 30 years and one thing that I have learned is that to have the right tool for the right job!!! I have 4 different carpet wands – 3 different vacuums , they all have a different purpose. This Sanitaire is a beast I like to use it on flat glue down carpet. Mainly super long apartment hallways. It’s a time saver. The most important thing to remember is the front height adjustment- you will burn through the rubber belts if it’s grabbing the carpet too much- just pay attention. Just remember it’s a vacuum not a pile lifter – if it is lifting the rug raise it up a notch, real easy. It’s a real nice beastly boy!!! The machine is so well designed – everything is so easy to change -belts -bag -roller brush . It was made for the convenience of the user.

got a refurbished one that was in “used-very good” condition. The motor sounded like a car engine with no headers. Removed the cover and found many broken plastic parts. returned for exchange. hopefully the new one will be better and this was just an oversight.

We have a low pile carpet in our building. This vacuum replaced our Karcher XP18 which had multiple shop visits for repair. This one is louder but drastically better performance. While emptying the shake out bag, you can see how much debris this collected. I am really impressed with this. Time will tell how this will hold.

This vacuum is amazing for at-home use or for commercial use. We use it at the apartment community I manage and it’s used to vacuum 4 floors, stairs, long hallways, etc. It has a nice long cord so you can vacuum more without having to constantly re-plug it in or use a bulky extension cord. The suction power is top notch and it was extremely easy to assemble. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an affordable but durable vacuum cleaner. It is wider than your average vacuum so you can cover more space in less time!!

It cleans very well, but it’s noisey, sounds like a trailer truck, but since it cleans very well and quick, I’ll keep it. I just can’t use it late at night. I live in a coop. It will wake up the neighbors. But it cleans!

Was disappointed that this vac didn`t come with an F& G bag option, shake out bags are very dirty. To use you end up a lot of dust and dirty on yourself when shaking out the bag.
