Not good for commercial cleaning. Can I still return???
D. Long –
Purchased one for home and one for work.
– It’s kind of heavy, but that’s what I was looking for.
– The handle is slick enough that it is a little uncomfortable to use. My janitorial staff wrapped it with electrical tape.
– On one unit, the spring that works the latch to hold it upright failed after a few weeks.

First off, this vacuum feels amazing to use. Other reviews were totally right, the brush roll grabs the ground really well and makes it feel like it is self-propelled. It sucked up large and small debris, loose and ground-in, and also left our carpets looking better even in areas that another vacuum had just gone. For half the price of comparable performance, this is a great value.
Unfortunately, after one day of use, it is already broken. The attached picture shows the screw which connects the solid red handle to the hollow aluminum (?) arm has sunk too far, allowing the handle to slide back and forth when vacuuming. Not a huge deal, except this then puts all the force required to the wires inside the handle running down from the switch. When I removed the machine screw to address this flaw, the metal threaded backing in the red plastic handle fell down into the aluminum tube, and I cannot retrieve. All in all, I had hoped to skip past this issue and continue using this product, but it’s a shame that such a small detail cripples an otherwise fantastic device. Still, you’d hope that a $400 vacuum would last longer than a day.
I also had a hard time removing the brush roll after use. The first time I wanted to show someone how “easy it was from the design and reviews”, it got stuck on whatever bearing supports the side closest to the release door, and it took a couple minutes to remove. Another less-than-promising-for-the-future issue.
If not for the handle issue, this puppy would be humming right now and would look forward to a glorious future in our office. Now it is headed back to the box, and I am back to my search for the perfect vacuum.

I really like this vacuum. Well made

I bought this vacuum for a commercial application. Nothing heavy duty, just regular rooms in a commercial building that needed to be vacuumed. Less than 2 months later, it doesn’t even turn on. Very disappointing piece of junk.
