This is our second Roborock vacuum, we bought this to use upstairs, so we don’t have to keep moving one vacuum (Roborock S6) upstairs and downstairs. Since we don’t have hardwood floor upstairs don’t need wet mop and this perfectly vacuum suffice for our needs.
The robot came in nice package with QuickStart guide that has simple instructions on how to get started and a cleaning tool which is necessary to clean and maintain the robot, the robot comes assembled and will start charging once places on docking station. Need to download app from Appstore/Play store to operate the vacuum and setting up the app was breeze and easily mapped the whole floor with multiple rooms without any issues, it did a great job of vacuuming including hair, dust, crumbs and also did solid job of cleaning rugs and carpet. As this robot uses LIDAR and cliff sensors, it won’t aimlessly slam into walls and spin in circles but effectively navigate floor to map precisely. The robot is very easy to use, there are two physical buttons, one is power button and another one is home button on top of robot for manual operations in case needed while phone is not in hand. The voice alerts notify about the power and charging status of the robot. Its dustbin is one piece where top cover is connected over the container. In order to empty dustbin, have to remove the back filter. This vacuum has single five-pronged side brush to sweep dust underneath it and primary brush roll. It has decent suction power with several suction modes including quiet, balanced, turbo and max. The battery life is about 3 hours on full charge which is plenty for our needs. Once the battery drops to 20% it will automatically dock itself to charge.
This vacuum is compatible with existing Roborock app we use for S6 which has lot of features and app is stable and comprehensive with lots of features. The app has live map with 3D option which provides bird’s eye view of robot’s cleaning status with area its cleaned and duration. The mapping is pretty accurate and allows to do a lot with the robot. In the app, easy to create invisible walls and no-go zones where you don’t want robot to go. This is really neat feature as my kids build lot of Legos and leave on floor. The app can save up to four map levels, has selective room and zone cleaning. Selective room cleaning allows to clean only selected room or area for example just kids bedroom/guest bedroom. Zoned cleaning lets choose a selected square/rectangle area within the map to vacuum. Spot clean option also very handy for quick clean up after kids mess, cleaning near dining area after meals. The robot also can be controlled with remote control on the app. The latest firmware update brings new feature, off-peak charging which is nice. We are quite happy with the purchase and would highly recommend this robot as it is affordable and has great functionality.

Roborock Q5, is a robot can vacuum only , no mopping function. After I bought the Roborock S7 on Amazon Prime Day last year, the Q5 was exactly what I am looking for. The roborock Q5 will be great suitable for my second floor on my house, my second floor have four carpet room.
The coming product box is well packed . It is including the base and the robot two part . By directly plug together, tighten the screws, very simple and easy.
Since I already have experience on the roborock app, So I use it more clear and easier 。First of all, I directly added new equipment Q5 on the APP. And let the robot explore the full second floor for the first time. The multi-function room on the second floor of my house was blocked by certain furniture, But the robot is so smart. It could “shuttle “ up and down without any obstacles. The map was completed very soon.
Excellent cleaning effect
After few days using this product, the Q5 I would say it got excellent cleaning effect. It move around very smart , even the corners of the wall and the furniture, It move in and out , and very closed to the wall. After placing some shredded paper on the floor, the robot went back twice and sucked it, nothing is behind. There were no pets at my home, so the hair and dust will be most dirts on my home. it has such stong suction for the carpet . Every time after using it, I feel clean and happy . Because my boy always like to lie down on the floor when he is playing. After using , the robot it got some hair tangled in a scroll . It better to be cleaned by every time, it is easy. The cleaning effect I will give 4.8 of 5 full score. The robot Q5 is great to helps the floor keep clean in the convenient way.
Intelligent voice management
By APP we can adjust the amount of the voice , it can be get louder or lighter. And it got night time “silence” mode, it is the least noisy , It is really important function for me. Especially we have a baby boy at home. When the baby take a snap, I can still use it in light voice mode. And also even use most powerful mode , the voice it still be ok for me.
Smart Ability to recognize obstacles
This Q5 is smart enough , the function to recognized obstacles is so so important for a robot. the obstacles mentioned earlier, the three circular on the robot bottom pedestals identified very well. In places like rooms, cabinets, and walls, the robot won’t bump into them, it’ll so close to them and do his job.
Enough Battery life
The battery life it said can last 180 minutes for full use. I remember my first cleaning, electricity shows it is only more than 75%, for my four rooms, is still sufficient enough. When the battery going low, it will automatically going back to Station to charge , after having enough battery it will continue his job and finish it .
Overall, it was a very satisfying shopping experience.if you are looking for a robot only be vacuum like me , I will highly recommend this product !!!

Aspira super bien! Tiene 4 modos de aspiración, yo tengo dos gatos y esos pelos que aspiro no se veían en mi piso, robot aspiro y yo trapee,
La interfaz de la app es muy amigable, puedes separar las habitaciones, yo tengo dos pisos y mapee arriba a
también, tu la llevas la dejas en un punto mapea y regresa a ese punto ya que su base la puse abajo.
Puedes prohibir zonas, puedes poner paredes falsas. Puedes usarla con el 🕹️ por si quieres aspirar algo en un punto fijo.
Llega a su base muy bien.
Sensor de caídas excelente ya que tengo escalones aquí en la sala y comedor y no pasó nada.
Se mete entre las sillas del comedor, la verdad es buena compra, eso sí ,hay que limpiar diario el.contenedor de basura ya que es pequeño pero no te tardas ni 5 min.
Yo lei muchas opciones de robots y está fue la que más me gustó y hasta ahorita creo fue buena opción.

El poder de succión es excelente, no consume mucha batería en modo balanceado. El escaneo de las habitaciones es genial y la app muy fácil de manejar. Incluso se pueden programar tareas con los asistentes.
