I’ve had this vacuum for a little over a month and WOW. We’ve had everything from Kirby’s, Rainbows, and Dyson….none of them compare to the suction power of this monster. I was concerned that it would be difficult to navigate, but I was pleasantly surprised. It has a self propelled feeling to it that’s not overwhelming. I would recommend this vacuum over machines I’ve spent $3000+ on as it literally cleans better. 10/10 recommend!

The Prolux 9000 is high quality and powerful while remaining convenient to use. An upright vacuum is ideal for cleaning large carpeted areas. My previous vacuum was a Miele C2, which was powerful but switching between attachments for different floor types was a hassle. The Prolux addresses this with a carpet/floor switch, making transitions between carpet and hard floors easy. I also appreciate that the turbo tool has its own storage spot on the vacuum itself. As a cat owner who frequently uses the turbo tool, this convenient storage location is a significant benefit.
The cleaner arrived well-packed in a nice branded box. Assembly was straightforward, requiring only one screw for the handle. The metal handle, brush roll, and base plate contribute to the machine’s durable feel. The attachments are well-made, and I was impressed by how long the hose extends. The vacuum features a high-quality HEPA filter inside the bag compartment, along with an additional post-motor filter at the front of the machine.
In terms of floor cleaning, the Prolux excels. The LED headlights illuminate dark areas, while the metal brush roll deep cleans and grooms carpets. Turning off the brush roll allows for effective hard floor cleaning with powerful suction alone. Although I’ve had mixed results with uprights on hard floors in the past, the Prolux performs well. The wand and hose combo is easy to pull out, making it simple to clean corners and other tight spots.
Overall, the Prolux 9000 is a vacuum I look forward to using for many years. The only downside is that it comes with paper bags, but Prolux sells high-quality cloth HEPA replacement bags. I’d recommend purchasing the cloth HEPA bags along with the vacuum for optimal filtration.

I received the Prolux 9000 upright Vacuum quickly. It was packaged very well. I love that the attachments are tucked into the vacuum instead of hanging off of them, because the ones that hang off get knocked off and lost. This vacuum is solid! It is heavier than the small handheld vacuums, but I believe it needs to be heavy to be able to support the strong suctioning of the vacuum. The wheels roll very smoothly on my tile and laminate floors. Because it is heavy, I do not use it on my stairs. I use a small handheld for that. The attachment for furniture has a spinning roller attachment, so that works great for vacuuming pet hair off of our fabric furniture! I like how if you pull the attachment from the floor base to use the extension wand, there is already one extension in the wand. I have yet to need to use the second extension wand that is attached to the machine. I know I will use it for ceilings and corners when I am ready for a deep clean. I highly recommend this machine. It is heavy, so expect that, but that tells me this is a solid machine.
