This is a nice little vacuum. I just got it, so will have to wait and see how it holds up over time, but Miele has a good reputation so hopefully it will last.
Something to be aware of: Not all models come with a HEPA filter (contrary to what “Rufus” said when I asked). The more expensive ‘Parquet’ and ‘Cat & Dog’ models have a HEPA filter but the less expensive regular model does not. However, you can buy a HEPA filter separately and use it in the regular model.
After using the vacuum for the first time, here’s what I found:
Pros:
– Vacuum is small, light, and maneuverable
– Suction is powerful but is also adjustable
– Dust canister is easy to empty, though there was fine dust coating it after being emptied — wiped it out with a damp paper towel
– Floor attachment switches from carpet to bare floor setting with a foot switch — works really well on large/wall-to-wall carpets and on bare floors
Cons:
– The smaller attachments are separate and are not stowed in/with the vacuum. I have to use the upholstery attachment a lot due to bad dust allergies and there’s no easy way to bring it with me as I move around the house.
– Floor attachment is larger than usual making it impossible to get into tight spaces — e.g. you have to switch to a different attachment to clean behind the toilet.
– On small rugs you can only really push the floor brush forward, even on the carpet setting. Trying to move back or sideways just moves the carpet.
– Even with carpet setting and reduced suction it was very difficult to clean my bathroom mats — brush was hard to move (even pushing forward) and kept getting stuck to mat and pulling it up.

The Miele Boost CX1 PowerLine SNRF0 Bagless Canister Vacuum Cleaner is the most expertly engineered appliance I have ever owned. Everything is thought through, brilliantly engineered, expertly delivered, with instructions an illiterate person could follow. The bagless canister works flawlessly and the space saved seems to be devoted to the motor. It is uncannily quiet, even on the highest setting, considering how powerful it is. Everything is just where you would want it to be on this machine. There is even a special notch to hold the head and hose off the ground when you are storing it – who else would have thought of that but Miele? There are clear, language-independent symbols for everything. The vacuum is surprisingly light, and its big, integrated wheels move smoothly and turn easily. You could easily carry it from room to room with its large, comfortable carrying handle, it you wanted to. The attachments are right where you need them, at the top of the hose nearest you. As some reviewers have noted, this amazing appliance wants to be cleaned every so often, maybe monthly. It’s not that it won’t continue to work great, because when our former housekeeper used it she never cleaned it. Now that I am semi-retired and do the vacuuming, it’s just so easy to take apart, rinse off, and put back together that I just find myself saying, “Why not keep is sparkling?”

Compact and easy to use. I have all hard surface floors and this vac does a great job. You can purchase a larger brush to cover large area at a time, I recommend getting that. Now all my edges and corners are clean, very good suction…..

I spent way too much time reviewing and searching for a new vacuum. I was interested in a cordless vacuum such as the dyson but could not wrap my head around how much money I’d be spending and having to recharge so frequently. I’ve had a shark corded stick vacuum and was disappointed with the lack of suction. Well consider me disappointed no longer! This vacuum is a MONSTER and I love it!! It’s lightweight, quiet and so incredibly powerful!! We have a Miele dishwasher and were familiar with the quality of the brand. Yes they’re pricey, but the quality of the machine is worth the investment. I do not expect to have to purchase a new vacuum for quite some time. If that changes, I’ll let you know.

I bought this model because of some of the positive reviews and I thought I would finally get a nice machine. I was impressed that I didn’t need to carry it, that it rolls and is low noise. BUT! The carpet roller had to be cleaned twice on each carpeted room. It was awful to get the long hair from my Irish Setter, then after only a month, it quit completely. I wish I had read some of the negative reviews. If you have pets or carpet, forget this machine and go elsewhere. It’s an expensive piece of junk. Hardwood floors are ok, but not great suction even on hardwood. Just don’t buy it.

So I usually buy Dyson, and I loved Dyson when they first came out. But the one I had most recently was upright animal/ ball and it felt so cheap. It was flimsy feeling. Either way the motor / rotation on the head died and it stopped sucking. So I took a risk and bought this. First this is a QUIET vacuum. I love that you can use the hose without pulling it out of the base of the vacuum – instead you just remove the head of the floor piece. I like that I can fully clean the chamber I don’t have to stick my f- hand in the debris to get it out. The cord goes back into place with a button. And they say that they have the same suction power / more than a dyson. But here’s the deal, the head it comes with does not have rotation it’s meant for flat hardwood floors, so you have to buy another head – the turbo. Which works well, it’s just not motorized so it feels less substantial than the Dyson which felt like it would suck the carpet up. (I liked that, to the point it almost wouldn’t move). I think you have to get another version to get a motorized head. This version you can only get a suction driven head. It is a really nice, serviceable vacuum – I’m
Sick of buying things that deliberately die and you’re forced to buy a new one. For the cost of a Dyson it should be more serviceable. And it shouldn’t die in 2 years. I had the first Dyson ever and that thing went from 2009-2021. It was a sad day, even worse now that I think about the fact that I got a new one that turned out to be flimsy die in 2 years junk.

Bought this for the ability to rapidly removing tiny dust and fragments from my laser cutter after each use. It has decent enough suction but the clear tube that holds the waste has already broken one of the only two notched areas it attaches t the motor with. Also the runtime is somewhere in the 5 minute mark before needing recharging again.

I absolutely love that machine it’s easy to pull and does a wonderful job picking up the dogs and cats hair. The parts are easy to put together or to remove. I don’t have much strength in my hands because of arthritis so that’s a big bonus for me. Another big bonus is that it doesn’t require bags so I save a lot of money on that. It’s also not heavy to pull. This is the best vaccum I have ever had and it’s worth the money
