Suction well, pet hair gets picked up easy and you can easily go from carpet to floor and vacuum the whole house fast.

We have always owned Kenmore vacuums and have found them to be excellent quality, but this time we ordered a less-expensive model, since it is just the 2 of us now, not a houseful of kids with daily vacuuming. The cheaper quality was obvious – more plastic, very lightweight. While I expected that, I didn’t expect it would begin breaking right away. The 2nd time we used it, the small clip holding the floor attachments came loose. My husband figured it was an easy fix, so we decided not to return the vacuum – that was a mistake! It came loose again, but this time he found that instead of just having to slip it back into place, the clip attachment had actually broken. By this time the return window had passed, so we were stuck with it. He patched it again, but several months later, the carpet attachment stopped working. My husband determined it was from an electrical issue, but wasn’t sure where, until the next time we used it – the hose attachment broke loose completely, wires and all. So 8 months after purchase it has fallen apart, and, because we didn’t purchase directly from Kenmore or Sears, the 1-year warranty is not applicable. We only vacuum every few weeks, so we have used it maybe 10 times. I am very thankful for my husband’s electrical skills and for duct tape, otherwise this vacuum would be in the dumpster now.

This vacuum will last several years and it’s a professional cleaning vacuum. In my house I only use this one.

This vacuum is maneuverable & has good suction. Can’t give it more than 3 stars overall, however, because the powered carpet attachment failed after 1 use. Even given my lowered expectations for product reliability these days, this is pretty bad.

Really nice power head works great on all floors. Would like a better floor head though. This little one doesn’t rotate and is hard to get into small spaces in between furniture.

The hardwood floor head does not get the edge or corners. If the mess is not directly in front of the head and in front of the wand it will not suck it up. If you take the head off it actually does better but not by much. Would I recommend this vacuum to my friends and family? Absolutely not. I’ve had kenmore vacuums before and have had no complaints on their ability to do the job. This one can’t even manage to do that.
