The iDOO Portable Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner is perfect for cleaning up local spots and stains. The powerful suction helps to pull up deep dirt and dust from carpets or couches helping extend their lifespan. I also like that it’s portable and easy to move around to the area of stain or dirt to quickly tackle the stain.
It comes with a long 16.4ft power cord and a 5.2ft hose, which gives you plenty of reach without needing to unplug and replug all the time. The dual tank system is also a plus because it keeps clean and dirty water separate. When the dirty water tank fills up, it flashes red and stops working.
I used it on my carpet, mixed in some Oxy Stain Remover or a carpet cleaner solution with the water and it did clean well.

Outside of the fact that there’s no option to add detergent, the system is pretty impressive for it’s size. I have a full sized rug doctor but dragging it around isn’t always ideal for small messes. There’s an included list of detergents you should and should not use on your carpets. Of course spot test anything before using it in conjunction with this system.
I use distilled water with the unit and don’t anticipate any issues. The carpet will have to air dry, as there’s not heated option as I’ve seen on other units, but it does a good job of extracting water from the carpet after spraying it down.
I had some coffee stains which generally comes out pretty easily with water and they did with minimal effort using this machine. For some older stains, I applied some citrus cleaner and it came clean. I like the idea of using this to clean up after needing to use chemicals for pet accidents. Even “natural enzymatic cleaners” make me uneasy about leaving them in the carpet so I go over it with this after it’s dried.
For normal operation, there’s two buttons. Power button on the unit and spray button on the handle. The one thing to note about this is that the power will continue running after the button is pressed, and you’re supposed to let it finish running before unplugging it, which may take up to six seconds.
So far so good, if something changes, I’ll update the review.

This is my review of the “iDOO Portable Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner, 17Kpa Powerful Suction Carpet Cleaner Machine, 600W Deep Cleaning Spot Carpet Shampooer, Stain Remover for Pet, Car, Couch, Rug, Stairs, Mattress and Curtain”
The item is sold in a manufacturer’s taped box.
I opened the box and removed the items (and examined them). The items appeared to be new.
I quickly read through the instructions and plugged the cleaner into an available electrical outlets in my garage to give it a try (for my car).
I put some non foaming detergent into the section designed for this and gave it a try on the seats of my car. The suction was strong enough and after going through my car seats with the cleaner, I saw a difference in the car seat but what completely shocked me was the waste/dirty water in the reservoir.
I feel that this portable carpet and upholstery cleaner is good for small jobs. I don’t think it is large enough to do an entire house/home unless you want to empty and refill the containers frequently. I think the size and portability is perfect for something like a couch, car seats, or maybe a small carpeted area.
If you have a pet, I think that this would also be great to use in order to clean up the messes that they might make in the house.
At the time of my review, the product is listed for $140+tax and I believe this is a good/fair price for something like this.

Was shocked to open this box and realize that there is no need for cleaning product in this cleaner. I think if you want to you can put some in there. Great price and works amazing. I used it on my couch and I didn’t even know my couch was that dirty… Pulling up random stains from inside from years ago & I’ve steam cleaned my couch many times before, it’s never came this clean.

iDOO Portable Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner, 17Kpa Powerful Suction Carpet Cleaner Machine, 600W Deep Cleaning Spot Carpet Shampooer, Stain Remover for Pet, Car, Couch, Rug, Stairs, Mattress and Curtain.
This is a well built portable carpet cleaner. It has a water reservoir and a waste water catch basin. There are 2 different nozzles, one for just sucking spraying and sucking water, and one that has a brush on it for doing some scrubbing while you are sucking and spraying water. The vacuum has strong suction. It really does suck up any water that is in your carpet. I was able to spray some water onto some spots on my carpet and then suck it up easily. The water that was left in the waste water bin was very dirty. It showed how much this worked to clean our carpet. I liked using it and it did a great job for cleaning my carpet. I’ll be using it for other small cleaning jobs and for my car seats.
This is a small portable device for cleaning carpets. It isn’t designed to clean a whole room sized carpet. It’s more of a spot cleaner or for a small throw rug. It would clean a larger carpet, but it would take a while. The nozzle size is small for smaller jobs.
The on-off button for the water spray is located on the top of the handle, and I found that it got in the way when applying pressure to the carpet while just sucking the water up. I would accidentally cause it to spray water when I didn’t want to. A trigger under the handle would have been better than a button on top.
The vacuum holds the hose and I suppose you could keep one of the nozzles on the hose that is wrapped around the device, but there is no storage for the extra attachment or spare parts (sponge filters).

The iDOO portable carpet and upholstery machine is light, portable and easy to use. The directions to set it up and get started are very simple. It comes with 2 different heads, one with a brush and one without a brush. The clean water bucket is easy to fill and the dirty bucket is easy to empty and wash out. It is very light and portable and great for spot cleaning when you don’t want to pull out your big carpet cleaner. It is easy to use and is does as good of a job as a carpet cleaning pulling the water back into the machine.
There are two parts I am not fond of with the machine. The machine directions say not to put soap in the clean water bucket. It is designed so you apply the soap to the spot and it does not come from the machine. The second part I am not fond of is where the spray button is placed, is where you want to put your hand to hold the part to vacuum up the water. I keep accidentally activating the spray since the button is on the top of the spray head and it get annoying but I am learning how to adjust where my hands are placed.
It is a nice little machine. It is a good value at the price with the 57% off coupon, not at the original price.
⭐️ 1 star – I don’t recommend it at all, poor quality, or it does not reflect the advertising.
⭐️⭐️ 2 stars – I don’t recommend it, it has multiple faults, or is not priced where it should be for the product.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars – It’s passable. It has some faults, but the quality is adequate for what it is.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars – Product quite acceptable; it does what it promises.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars – Product that I totally recommend.

For me, this thing worked great. It has a few quirks to get used to compared to the one I just replaced, but no complaints about its performance.
It’s fairly smaller, smaller than my last carry-around unit, and the water reservoir is a bit smaller, but this is made for spot cleaning. And for that is does great.
It’s dimensions are basically 12 inches long by 12 inches high by 7 inches wide.
The motor is pretty quiet. My previous unit had a loud motor for its size. This easily beats that.
The button for starting it is electrically controlled, meaning it’s not a mechanical switch where you push down to make two contacts connect. It’s controlled thru a circuit card.
When you shut it off it takes about 2 seconds for it to actually shut down. That’s kind of odd. Not sure why it does that, but whatever, I’m sure they have a reason.
The hose is about 6 feet long. When not in use it wraps around the bottom of the unit.
One thing I noticed while using it was when I gripped it, it would squeeze the water trigger. If you don’t want in spraying water all the time you need to learn how to avoid that button. It can be very convenient if you just want to spray and vaccum constantly. Just squeeze the handle hard and it’ll push the button.
There are two suction ends. One is larger with brushes on the back part of it for scrubbing. When not scrubbing and just sucking up water you need to have it tilted a bit forward to get by the brushes.
The second attachment allows you to spray also but does not have bruches on it. It’s just for pulling up water. It also most seems slightly too long. I tend to push down a bit to try and get into the carpet and this seems designed like it shouldn’t be pushed down to hard.
There is no place on it to store the extra end piece, so I was just putting it on top where you put your hand in to carry the unit.
It also came with a tiny chimney sweep style brush that is about 5 inches long to help clean out the end of the hose I guess.
The power cord is nice and long. It doesn’t have a spot to fully wrap it around teh the unit so you need to use the attached valcro strap to hold it together when not in use and then it just hangs over one hook.
I’m happy with it though. It’s quiet, it pulled up a lot of nasty dirt from the carpet. It was good to see all that yuck pulled up with this thing. Made me want to do more.

It’s my first time owning a portable carpet cleaner so I had a bit of trial and error with this machine but I feel that I got the hang of it now.
First I tried using the machine without any cleaning agents and that gave mediocre results.
Then I tried using an homemade cleaning agent directly into the clean water tank, it yielded better results.
Finally, I used a store bought cleaning agent that I sprayed onto the carpet and let it rest for a few minutes before using the carpet cleaner and I found this was the best combination for me with the best results.
I don’t have heavy duty carpets, what I have is several medium to large runners and thin lightweight rugs and I find the suction power of this machine more than adequate, I feel that if it was anymore powerful it would lift up my rugs the way my vacuum does when I use it at it’s highest setting.
A couple of issues I have is that I find that the power cord placement is not optimal, I find it interferes with the cleaning hose and gets in the way.
I also find the hose is a bit short, I can’t use it while standing up and need to kneel down to use it.
I can’t compare it to any other similar product since I’ve never used any, all I can say is that this thing works, I can see it by the dirty water in the tank.
