We recently bought a split level house with wall to wall carpet. Hubs wanted a vacuum he could carry up and down the stairs easily. He also wanted something we could vacuum the stairs with. The big Hoover wind tunnel I have just wasn’t built for stairs. I am fan of Hoover, I bought my big hoover about 12 years ago and it is still going strong, so I am a bit biased. My husband is a gamer/techie, so I thought a cordless vacuum would be up his alley. The battery life is great. We can vacuum almost the entire 3000 sqft house on one battery. It is light weight and easy to carry and does a great job with all of our dog hair. There is a lot of it, we have a husky, a malimute, a malinios, and a pomeranian, along with a cat and a ferret. It is easy to empty and the brush roll is easy to remove and clean. The attachments are easy to use and dettach and attach. Very intuitive to use. We did buy a 2nd battery. It was worth it. My only complaint is the vacuum comes with a wall mount for it and its attachments, but there is no wall mount for the battery charger. Command strips to the rescue!

I bought this as a replacement for an older model, and cannot praise it enough. All of the issues I had with the previous model have been addressed. It stands up by itself. It has strong suction when using attachments, and the battery has a long life. I also have two batteries from the previous model, and they work great. I am very pleased.

Worked only for 4 months, lost it’s suction power and it’s loud like a helicopter is landing. Really regret my decision to buy this garbage.
Review edited: it works great, the suction was lost as the pipe was clogged. I watched a video and was able to remove the items stuck in the pipe and it became again a powerful machine. Happy with it.

This unit had all the features that we like. First off it had a battery pack that appears to hold a good charge for days. Snap in to work and snap out to charge. Also, the light at the floor is a plus in seeing all those little specs and dog hair. Easy to remove and dump debris. Nice design, works well in slow and fast speeds, good balance…nothing not to like here!

This is a great little vacuum cleaner! I highly recommend it. It works so well; it actually makes vacuuming more enjoyable and feel less like a chore. It’s very light and maneuverable and has great suction on any/all surfaces. And is very simple to quickly break down to clean it (I use my shop vac for that). The only complaint I have, is the battery life of the 4ah battery supplied, it’s not bad when cleaning hardwood floors, but when you turn it up for cleaning carpet, it quickly runs out of juice. But on the plus side, the battery is removable, so if you have a second battery (I have an 8ah battery on order), you can have one on the charger ready to go, while you are using the one in the vacuum. Overall, I feel the performance and simplicity of this vacuum, justifies the price tag of both the vacuum and the extra battery.

I bought this after using a cheap $40 Bissell vacuum for a few years, and boy what a difference. I was hesitant to spend such a large amount of money on a vacuum cleaner, but it was definitely worth it.
The assembly is easy, just keep in mind that you do need a screwdriver to secure the handle.
It’s not super heavy, but not super light either. I don’t think an elderly person would be able to carry it up stairs.
The hose is a decent length – it stretches.
The suction is great! I have 4 cats and this vacuum does a wonderful job of picking up pet hair. What I also REALLY like is that it doesn’t fling cat litter or other small pieces of debris (sand, dirt, etc) all over. With my old vacuum, I could feel the pieces of cat litter being flung out underneath it and hitting my feet lol
The only 2 things I don’t like is that 1) It’s SUPER loud and 2) You need a screwdriver to take apart the canister if you want to do a thorough cleaning job. There is an easily accessible filter on the top, which you can remove and wash, but if you want to be more thorough and clean out the entire canister, you need to unscrew it. I haven’t done it yet, admittedly.

I did my research, read the reviews, went with what we thought was a reputable brand name. In the end purchasing this Hoover vaccum for hundreds of dollars. Splurging and hoping it would last us a long time. Unfortunately it’s been a horrible experience. After only a few months the plastic on the vaccum wand cracked, and the vaccum no longer worked. We contacted Hoover directly and they sent a new wand. It was annoying, being without a vaccum for 2 weeks and then having to install the new wand ourselves, and frustrating that it seemed like a cheap part to break so easy, but we thought maybe it was a one off and we’d be good to go. Not so much. A few months later the fabric of the hose tore. Literally just while turning the vaccum around a corner it tore. This is now twice during normal vacuuming that a basic part has broken. Only the second time now we have been battling with Hoover for two months, and they have not been responsive. So we no longer have a vacuum we can use, nobody is responding to us, we have no replacement parts, And we are beating our head against the wall trying to figure out what to do next. Apparently keep fighting with Hoover to get them to honor their warranty and respond to us. Only six months and we have had two major issues with this vacuum. And at present I cannot vouch for Hoovers customer service or their warranty. I am so mad, so disappointed, and will NEVER buy a Hoover again.

I bought 2 of these. One for upstairs and one for the basement and both are doing a great job. I like the button on the battery to see what is left for power. I like the low and the increased power for stubborn lint on the carpet. I would suggest that a handle be put on the stick to lift it up easily when needed. The handle should be just below the dust collector on front of the stick/bar. Otherwise I am very pleased with this machine.
