The vacuum arrived much sooner than expected, I was happy to see that the packaging was efficient while also providing great protection for the vacuum. The vacuum, accompanying attachments, brush, and additional HEPA filter were very well made (and adorable tbh because they’re mini-versions of what I’m used to seeing in full sized vacuums). They felt and looked like they were durable. In addition to being aesthetically pleasing the vacuum is the perfect size for cleaning up small spills like crumbs, baseboards, hard to reach corners, crevices, and cracks. I used the vacuum to clean my parents’ coffee table and it worked beautifully! Their table is made of mahogany-like wood with individual squares of slate squares. Crumbs and dust can get trapped in the gaps between the slate tiles and wood which can be difficult to clean out. This handheld did an amazing job, it’s powerful and has two speeds, the lower setting was plenty strong to do a great job for this task. The vacuum has two attachments included, a crevice tool, and brush tool. They stack on top of one another and are conveniently stored behind the vacuum on the vacuums stand where one can store it when not in use and/or while charging. The charger included is compact while being powerful and the cord appears to be durable. I used the vacuum to clean up crumbs on our granite counter, vacuum suede couch cushions (the brush tool worked great for making nice “vacuum tracks” and removed some lint that was on the cushion effectively. The crevice tool is small enough to fit into hard to reach places in our car, something that can be frustrating to do with other hand-held vacuums I’ve used as well as the vacuums at the self-serve car washes I’ve gone to. I took the vacuum to my parents’ place to show them and clean their car (and table) with. My dad is an engineer and both my mom and dad are perfectionists! It goes a long way when my dad finds something that feels and looks high quality. He was impressed with the motor, how effective it was, the overall size, and appearance of the vacuum, especially given how powerful and effective it is. I was initially skeptical about purchasing my full size vacuum online from the parent company of this handheld (INSE) but decided to take a chance because of their return policy and said commitment to customer service. After almost one year my full size vacuum had an issue and I followed through by contacting customer service fully prepared for the fact that I was likely going to experience a let down and would be kicking myself for buying the vacuum online over going to the “big-box store” I’ve bought vacuums at in the past. As it turns out, the customer service was outstanding. The agent who helped me genuinely cared about resolving the problem, whether that meant replacing the entire vacuum, the motor itself, or part that needed replacing. The same customer service agent (Sandy) corresponded with me throughout the troubleshooting process. She even asked if I could send a short video of the brush (it wasn’t turning properly) with the motor running and pictures of several areas to share with their product development and repair team. She followed up immediately or within several hours after I’d submitted any answers to questions she had and even politely persisted when I stalled out on my end of things! I realized that she (and the company in general) were sincerely interested in making things right. The problem was ultimately resolved by replacing a belt. While examining the vacuum I noticed that one of the little wheels on the base was missing. Sandy sent two replacement belts, extra wheels, a cleaning brush, and another HEPA filter to us free of charge. I was so impressed! I recommend the handheld vacuum to anyone in need of a compact, portable, sturdy vacuum at a reasonable price point, it’s a great value considering the quality, design, and effectiveness.
