We just got an artificial lawn put in, we have a nice big piñon pine tree with limbs that extend over one edge. Synthetic lawns seem to have been invented specifically to trap piñon needles, and they tend to find their way down into the spaces between blades and orient themselves so their poky ends point up at your bare feet. Initially I tried combinations of raking, vacuuming and blowing with no meaningful success. I got a chance to try out the Roll & Comb 502 (similar model to this) as a loaner from the lawn company and it did a very good job. However $500 for what amounts to a cheap combination of plastic and low grade steel parts was beyond ludicrous. So I ordered this with fingers crossed. It came today and I put it through the paces. First off, it was easy to assemble and although the parts seemed pretty much exactly the same as the ones on the loaner 502 they did fit together well and I’m hoping will stay in good shape since our storage shed is right at the edge of our lawn. Seems likely it’ll hold up with reasonably gentle use. It worked nearly as well as the 502, may have needed an extra pass here and there to get all the needles up but basically did an excellent job. I definitely wouldn’t be able to live with the lawn (or the tree, which we absolutely refuse to chop down) without this type of powered roller brush/ collection receptacle contraption, and for $329 I’m totally happy with the decision to purchase this instead of the Roll & Comb. One star off for the rickety build – even at the “reduced” price these things should be constructed more robustly.

The sweeper was not performing as it should. I contacted the supplier and they without question agreed to provide a replacement which arrived the following day. I returned the faulty product and this was acknowledged as being received two days later. Wonderful proper service!
Loves –
Like a lawn mower, you can make an initial pass and then pull it backwards to really clean up the path. You also need to adjust the height like a lawnmower to adjust how deep you want the brush to go into the turf. I’ve found the middle setting works the best without going too deep and kicking up much sand.

Does exactly as described. Returned my 2 year old grass to almost new. Debris was effortlessly picked up. It doesn’t go right up-to the edge if there’s a wall/fence present, but that’s easily solved with a garden vac.
The quality of the product is excellent and was very easy to put together.
The cost might make some people gasp, but the job it does and the time saved makes it worthwhile imo.

I bought this to clean leafs off artifical grass green and thought it be quick and effecient. Its opposite. By time i run by cord, get the unit out it takes forever. It left more behind than in basket. I wish I could return but I didnt use until now since its starting fall. I didnt have a reason to use it before. I never write reviews but all your buying is a brush that spins and it also chops the leafs so it makes them smaller to get up and off the green. I tried every angle way to get them up and nothing worked. It almost looked worse than I started because it wouldnt pick up anything small until many many times over if at all then. Yes I adjusted the height on every setting., spent an hour to do a little sectiion. So I then got out my blower and it took 5 minutes. Want to return but well past window. Do not buy if you value time and actually doing what its suppost to do. Again I never review so this is honest and can show you video evidence. Buy a good blower.

Large Astro sweeper that is bigger than I expected. Easy to put together and off we went. First impression was it’s noisy but it appeared to pick up all the leaves from 3 trees in our garden. However as I changed direction all the debris would fall out of the basket back onto the garden again and I ended up with more mess than I started with! I tried all the different settings with the same result. In the end I sat a house brick in the collection basket while the sweeper was stored in the garage. A few weeks later I tried again (removing the house brick first!) and it picked up all the leaves without dropping them back on the garden…….RESULT! It now does what it is supposed to do so this may help others who appear to have the same messy issue. Stick a brick in it!!!

I love this turf sweeper. I almost didn’t get it based on some reviews but reading other reviews I did. I’m so happy with it! It brought our seven year old turf back to life and picked up all the leaves and debris. The power and suction is amazing and the brushes. What I figured out after watching YouTube videos is when using it (unlike a mower) go slower and go backwards over the spot you just did or go in the opposite flow of the turf and it really fluffs it up. I’m glad I purchased it on Amazon Prime Day it is a little pricey and I patiently waited and no regrets as you can see from the pictures we have a huge backyard and a lot of turf. Definitely put glasses on for any debris that may fly in the air and it is quite loud. If you live in an HOA like we do I would recommend you wait until after 9am as not to disturb your neighbors. The motor is very strong and loud as it will pull you forward which I love. That made it so easy. Putting it together less than five minutes. You just have to put the handles on and I bought a 200 ft outdoor electrical cord.

Just laid quite a big artificial lawn in my back garden as I have a big dog. The dog is always making a mess shredding my Amazon deliveries and the like but I also have a few fruit trees surrounding the fake lawn. As soon as I’d laid it it was covered with leaves fruit and the dogs mess. I bought this sweeper and no lie it’s magic! Takes me about 5 – 10 minutes and the lawn is like new again. I do it once a week or when necessary so to stop build up of leaves. It’s quite big and it’s not very light but it propels it self forward with the powerful brush so it’s easy to use. Will leave a small margin where the wheels are so I go over these with a leaf sucker. It’s very powerful so I’m cautious about going right up to the edges as it can fray the grass a bit if you’re not careful and make sure you don’t sweep the cable as I’ve found out. It sucks it up in an instant and gets tangled in the brush – easily rectified by taking the brush out and uncoiling it…
Bottom line. Along with a leaf sucker this is a must have if you have a large artificial lawn! well worth the money also seems robust and well made.

We recently remodeled our backyard, adding lots of hardscaping and a decent sized area of artificial turf that lies underneath a huge mature ficus tree. This tree drops a ton of litter daily and especially in the summer months. The debris consists of leaves and fine twigs/branches but most problematic are the berries which when dropped are a hard seedlike nature. The “seeds” get stuck in the turf and have been impossible to remove without using a shop vac. We needed a feasible solution and came across the GreenSweep. With the right technique this tool works really well to remove the seeds from the turf! We settled on a technique reminiscent of the 80s kids game Hungry Hungry Hippo where we pull the sweeper back, then tilt back to move to the front of the next section. We set the level to the lowest which really wants to propel the sweeper forward, but if we were to allow the sweeper to move forward the seeds just spit out the back of the machine. Pulling backwards captures a solid 80% of the seeds. The only gripes we have (which given the alternatives we are happy to deal with) is that (1) it doesn’t remove anything in the outer ~3 inches of the machine, (2) it does spit/drop some debris from the back which requires you to make additional passes to pick up, and (3) as other reviewers have stated, there isn’t a great seal between the basket and the machine so debris tends to fall out somewhat during operation and definitely falls out when the basket it removed. Overall we give this 5 stars as it solves a particular issue we have pretty well. Note that we did try the sweeper on the flat paved surface and it was a hard fail – it just kicks debris out the back. However, I’ll admit that I haven’t tried different height settings to see if I can make it work.
