Grew up with this type of sweeper so the nostalgia of it is cool. The handle does tend to come off though quite easy. Pretty hard to control when the handle doesn’t help

I have a large area in my basement fenced off for my rabbits and with their sensitive hearing this works great on the low pile carpet to sweep up their hair and any dirt versus using a regular vacuum. Like that it is also easy to assemble and has good storage capacity.

I bought this for quick cleanups instead of dragging out the vacuum. It picks up great and easy to empty. It’s small, light and compact. Would recommend this one instead of paying twice the amount for name brands.

An unexpected outcome of having this in my living room is that my children have now claimed it as their new favorite toy. I should have never wasted money on a toy vacuum for these little people. If you have small children this is great for cleaning up snack crumbs between vacuuming sessions, which is why I bought it. However, it also doubles up very well as an actually useful kids toy. I’m tempted to buy a second one.
The swivel handle isn’t great, but it works well otherwise and is good for the price. The brush will quickly become wrapped up in pet hair if you happen to have a dog that sheds, so be aware of that. This won’t replace your vacuum cleaner if you live a messy life like I do but it is quite useful and I have no regrets about my purchase.

I live in a little 1950s house with a kitty that tracks litter everywhere! I got tired of lugging out the vacuum to pick up the litter bits and cat hair and wanted an old fashioned, lightweight manual sweeper— no cords, batteries, or waiting to charge— just grab and go! This little sweeper does a great job! It’s also got adorable 50s styling that looks nice enough that if I leave it out, it just blends in with the vintage style of the house. These manual sweepers are almost impossible to find in stores now, which is a shame. They are easier to use than heavy vacuums for small jobs. I am so glad I found this one for under $30! It’s not full size, but mini like the title says. It’s about the size of a large hardback novel (I took a pic with my hand for scale). It would take a long time to do a large room with it, so don’t expect it to fully replace your vacuum. However, it picks up hair and litter so well and I love the top dirt dump lever rather than the push bottoms other sweepers have.
Downsides: the top handle where you hold it is loosey-goosey. It doesn’t fall off, just swivels easily (which it’s designed to do, I think, but it sometimes awkwardly swivels when you try to push it forward). Also, you will have to use your hands to get longer hair out of the brush, just be warned (my vacuum is the same way, though, since I have long hair and shed as much as my cat it seems!). Overall, it is affordable, cute, functional, and perfect for a small house like mine or maybe a camper or classroom! Would buy again.

This broom is problematic because it is difficult to pick up small things from the floor. It does not easily collect the dirt from the floor. I bought it because it was cheap, but it is not really effective for the floor, and I was looking for a broom that picks up dirt from the floor
