I love Dyson, I just had had my dyson vacuum die after 14 years, so this was the replacment for our downstairs/carpeted areas. I didn’t love it on our hardwood, so staying with our cordless dyson for upstairs. But it’s amazing good on our carpet, bigger than my previous dyson so a little bit of an adjustment, but overall a stellar vacuum as expected.

When I tried to assemble the vacuum head to the machine I found I was missing the locking ring that holds the head onto the machine. Without this critical part the vacuum head won’t stay on the machine and thus, the vacuum is useless. Whoever “refurbished ” this machine left a part out when it was shipped.
I have requested either the locking ring or another vacuum head with all the necessary parts. Never again will I buy a “refurbished machine” over the internet.

I had a Dyson upright 2009 model that finally needed replacing. Purchased a Bissell to try to save money but, sadly, it did not even compare. When I saw this refurbished model for only $199 had to jump on it, and it did not disappoint! Looks brand new out of the box, easy to assemble and works fabulous! My only complaint would be that the wand doesn’t move in and out as easily as it should when extending it from the hose. A minor inconvenience, but the suction power and ease of movement when using more than makes up for it. I hope this one lasts as long or even longer than my old Dyson. Time will tell. For now I’m very happy with this purchase!!

I have an old dyson upright that needs to be repaired. In the meantime, I thought I’d try this ball vacuum. It is extremely noisy and is difficult to pull the handle down to use as an upright. There is really nothing to hold onto the base with my foot to tip the handle back. Maybe it will get easier with use. It seems a lot more flimsy than my old dyson, which I will definitely have to get repaired. The little cap that fits over the wand when the ball vacuum is used as an upright does not fit properly and will not close. It’s purely aesthetic, but it is a refurbished model. Guess I got what I paid for, That being said, it does have good suction and is more maneuverable than my old one. The wand is not as easy to pull out and put back, but it also works well when in use. If my old one cannot be repaired, I will eventually pay full price for a new dyson. Dyson is the only brand I will buy; my first one lasted almost 20 years, and I expect my next one to last years also.

Received on time. Looked brand new. When purchased during Prime Days the description did not mention that it was refurbished. I’ve had a Dyson Ball for at least 9years that worked great and I finally had to replace it. This newer Ball does not pick up well especially on hard wood. I found that I had to pick things up by hand even after rolling over it (Hungry Hippo style) multiple times. When vacuuming it makes a slight ringing sound. If you extend our arm and thus vacuum more than two feet in front of you the vacuum head does not stay flat on the ground. Instead, it does a “wheelie” so it doesn’t pick up anything especially when vacuuming under coaches or tables. I do not recommend this Dyson Ball.

Never going back to a cheaper vacuum again. This is what the Dyson picked up AFTER vacuuming a small room with the stick vacuum I’d used for years.
