   I love my Dyson but the video they have doesn’t go with the vacuum I have and this senior of 77 years had trouble getting it together. Thank goodness for my son who also has a Dyson put it together for me. I had written a review before stating that there was no flexibility in the hose and complained of the red handle making it impossible to clean furniture and now I have to take all that back. My grandson came for a visit and was fooling around with my vacuum cleaner and I turned to ask him what is he doing and he pulled the red inflexible handle off so I was left with the hose to put the attachment to I guess my son forgot to show me that so please ignore what I wrote precious about this vacuum cleaner and cleaning furniture.

   We bought this vacuum which was suppose to be in good condition. The vacuum wasn’t even close to good. The roller brush as a deep gash that ran all through it was if a large rock or item had been previously sucked up. The roller brush would only spin half the time. When we first got it we went to click the handle on and the whole bracket to hold the handle on was broken. The motor was very weak most likely due to the large item that seems to be sucked up in the roller damage. You could smell a burning scent when you turned the vacuum on. The outside of the vacuum was completely scuffed up. This vacuum was in terrible condition and should not have been sold. When I filed for return on this item, I received a message from the seller that they had inspected and tested this item before they shipped it. There is no way this vacuum was tested as you couldn’t even keep the handle on without gluing it on. My first and last time from buying from this seller. I am still awaiting my refund for this product and very much hope they will make it right.

   We have 2 labs, which shed a bunch, and this vacuum gets ALL the hair. Amazing and efficient, I highly recommend to all.
   Only downside is the canister doesn’t hold a bunch and I do have to empty out frequently.
   However I liked it so much I bought another for downstairs!

   I like the vacuum. However, I paid full price, and what was delivered was obviously reboxed. Most of the protective cardboard inside was missing, and one of the wheels was broken off. The exterior box was really badly damaged.

   I needed the vacuum, so I ordered a new wheel and fixed it myself. Sent info to the vendor and got no response.

   With regard to the vacuum, the ball works very well. It is easy to use and cleans well. The hose attachments are well thought out. I have the same complaint as prior Dysons, though. The hose is an accordion, and when suction is applied, it tries to retract the vacuum, so you have to constantly fight it and fight to keep the vacuum off of you.

   I recommend the vacuum. I do not recommend this supplier.

   This was purchased to replace our 1 year old Oreck that seemed underpowered. We were right, the first use of this vacuum was full with hair the Oreck was leaving in our carpet.

   This is the 2nd Dyson I have owned over many years. It works great and easy to assemble. I’m always amazed at the amount of waste it picks up.
