This item is a replacement for my brandless portable steam cleaner that I used sparsely to clean the whole apartment before I moved out to another apartment and was really happy with the build and result, it went missing when I moved. Not lived long enough in the brand-new apartment to use the steam cleaner then I moved to this very old house. I bought this steam cleaner hoping that it will outlast the unbranded steam cleaner I had before, unfortunately, that didn’t happen. I mentioned before I sparsely use a steam cleaner, only for a thorough cleaning of the whole house as the prep and aftercare are quite time-consuming compared to regular cleaners. I used it maybe twice or three times and a long span of time in between them. It was OK the last time I put it away then now it doesn’t work at all while the warranty period is already way past behind. Now looking for a much better brand and features like a bigger container/tank as I will use it for big jobs and longer hose may be a McCulloch.

The one challenge I always had with the Bissell steam shot was tank capacity, so when it quit working I decided to try the competition. Firstly I spent ages looking for the combination of features with a decent price and this fit the bill. One thing I wanted to point out first is the temperature listed is misleading as it’s in Fahrenheit, the temperature of steam is not measured above 100 degrees centigrade. How much hot can a boiling kettle get for example. Steamers work by heating the water up to boiling point which under pressure creates steam, as soon as it leaves the steamer it turns into vapor which is what we then use. So how did it perform? On initial use I found the tank to be a little temperamental, if you slightly overfill water actually leaks past the cap at the top, I also found the cord compared to the bissell significantly shorter, and in general it’s the one weak spot, from experience in time it will pull away and start splitting, the most annoying feature is the trigger button which you have to slide awkwardly to fire the vapor, its really awkward to get right and because it’s fiddly it’s the second weak spot to be aware of. Performance wise it’s great, I love the adjustable directional nozzle and all the accessories are on par with the bissell. On the whole in comparison the bissell is more sophisticated and user friendly, however the tank size means less refills when tackling larger jobs. One of the most common questions I’ve noticed is if this will kill beds bugs. Absolutely, bed bugs die at 80 degrees centigrade, however not immediately, your going to need a good 3O seconds to do that, so no quick passes. On the whole I like this steamer, but if user friendly is an important quality definitely look at the bissell.

I bought this product in 2021. It’s been in my laundry room The original box since I purchased it. I have only used this thing four times and now it is leaking steam everywhere the attachments hook up. We recently moved and I went to use it to steam the wrinkles out of my curtains and a second degree burn on my hand. My husband thought that maybe the o-rings in. It had dried out, so he put new ones in there and it’s still leaking. So if you buy this just know If you plan on using it quite a bit, you will probably have to replace it quickly.

We never knew we needed this until we bought it. I am replacing the wicker cane on my dining room chairs and needed to soften the glue to remove the old cane. This steamer has a multitude of other uses. Too long to list. the steamer cleans many things and is very complete with attachments. Happy!

This is a great product, works even better than advertised. Easy to use and provides steam for awhile. Great attachments that enacted you to get into different spaces. Had to use it on my Samsung Refrigerator ice maker.

I bought this to help keeping my carpets to stay fresh and clean. I can not rate this machine any higher as this is one powerful machine. It gets stains out that have been there for years that my spot cleaner couldn’t get out. It’s light weight which is perfect for a girl like me. It cuts through the dirt and grim in seconds and has a handy lock so that you don’t have to get cramp in your hand to keep the steam coming. I would recommend buying more pads and clothes though as even a new carpet laid in early June came out with a lot of dirt and does stain the pads.
Can’t wait to use it again.

Pros:
This does the job its supposed to. Its good because it holds a lot of water, and you dont have to keep refilling. The attachments are awkward, and not user friendly. Having the long hose, with steam is really nice, due to the lite weight, and able to get into tight spots, and the steam lock feature.
Overall good purchase and worth the extra money, when compared to the hand held versions.
Cons:
Not easy to store, should come with a little bag for all the attachments.
Should have some sort of area to store the cord and the hose, its just all loosey goosey in the closet.
Not easy to empty tank or know if there is any water left in tank at end of cleaning cycle. I expect this to cause mold/mildew issues later down the road.
Attachments are not easy to understand, a sicker with a picture of what it does ON THE ATTACHMENT would be really nice add on.
