While I believe this sweeper does have applications where it can work, and work well, my house is not one of them. It’s just OK. It’s not great at getting up the cat hair, nor my sheds, on my, very old, hardwood floors, but they are also not absolutely perfectly flat. It’s not great at dust bunnies either, but I also know I live in a high static area where everything sticks to everything. It’s decent at larger debris, and picking up the cardboard bits from cats chewing boxes and scratching their cardboard furnishings. Litter scatter was also hit and miss, as it requires repeated swipes… I’ll keep it for really quick, LITTLE jobs buts it’s really more annoying and more work than it should be. Even emptying was messy, so I do it outside we’re stuff can’t fly all over the place and back to the floor. Again I’m sure the static factor is not helping… The one thing I did actually like is it does work on my gorilla door mats and oddly, my deck… twigs, berries, general debris. I think I’ll just spring for a cordless stick vac for a better effort to results ratio.

My carpeted floors will be much cleaner between vacuuming, which is needed between my cats and me tracking dirt in the house from the backyard.
On initial use it was difficult to pull backwards, but I read that in another review that it takes a little breaking in, so I slid it over my tile floors before taking it to my bedroom and sweeping the carpet in there. It worked well on reverse as in forward. It does however take a little muscle to push and pull, but I think that is due to the pile of my carpet.
I did notice it not picking up some tuffs of fur on the carpet from my long haired cat and initially assumed it was not picking up any fur. So, I was surprised when I saw tons of fur in the sweeper when I went to dump it.
I really like the rubber sweepers as they won’t clog with hair and fur. And the handle where it attaches to the sweeper is very secure. It doesn’t look nor feel flimsy like some of the competitors.

I’ve worked in restaurants for 12 years and have used a dozen brands. Most recently my restaurant went through the gray “natural” sweep and a green one.
Most of these things will clog with hair, break at the point where the handle connects to the unit, and lose their dustbin contents with a slight bump against a wall or chair.
Carlisle has NONE of those problems. It picks up everything on the first forward pass.
Only downside is that when it is new it won’t sweep on the backwards pass until it is broken in, the wheels or something is just too stiff. But it hardly matters because it picks up everything so very well on the forwards pass.
I bought three more and my store has four. We only use them on low pile carpet.

This sweeper is absolutely amazing. The construction is better then i thought its sturdy. The sweeper really does get everything off the rug and tile. It even picked up cat litter off the tile. I definitely recommend this awesome product. Definitely excellent value for the money well spent. The unit is a sturdy metal. Its a 10.

Purchased this for my Mom. She’s in her 80’s and needed something more lightweight to push around for quick pick ups between regular vacuum days! She absolutely loves it ! Very easy to empty, works well on both Carpet and laminate flooring. Takes up no room in linen closet, easy to put together. 🙂

I bought this floor sweeper to help keep my kitchen floor clean in-between vacuming but I am not so happy with it I feel it works better on carpet than hard floors so not very impressed.

We have popcorn on the floor all the time and it scoops it right up. As well as not having to get the vacuum out all the time. These are great for quick little cleanups.

This is easy to use it has a rubber roller on the bottom which makes it easy to scoop up the messes backwards and forward. I even let my 7 year old granddaughter use it and she was sweeping up everything and it has two easy compartments on the sides that hold what you sweep up! I would recommend this product!

This picks up dirt but doesn’t hold it inside. The dirt comes back out as you roll it because there is a large gap on either side of the roller bar. It actually spread debris out further, like a fertilizer spreader. Don’t buy this for small particles like cat litter or pet hair because it’s totally ineffective for that. Might work on things like popcorn or dry cereal that’s on the larger side. Was not worth the price and I don’t recommend it.

I really needed this for hard flooring more than carpets. It left too much behind to make it usable for me.

Ordered this sweeper as it says cordless but it does not chargeable. Its just a manual sweeper. For the price I expected it to have a charger. This should not be called cordless. Was disappointed
