I have had this cordless vacuum for a year now and I am still impressed by how it works. My floors are bare: ceramic tile, hardwood and Pergo with some throw rugs. The 2 levels of suction work great, low suction for the bare floors and higher for the carpets. I’ve had 4 major surgeries and was bedridden for 10 weeks, talk about weak. BUT I can vacuum my whole first floor on one charge with no discomfort whatsoever. The only vacuum I can say that about. Plus, it stands up by itself, which beats picking it up off the floor. The Black+Decker Powerseries+ has been put to the test lately because we adopted a pure white husky/shephard. The headlight on this vac illuminates all this fur beautifully which makes a lot easier to vacuum. It may seem unorthodox to get this excited about a vacuum but I’ve had all kinds, canister, stick and upright by different manufacturers. I would choose this one every time. I don’t know how it would work on wall to wall. With the higher suction power selected I think it would do a passable job. It certainly sucks up the ends of my throw rugs if I am not careful. I hope this review helps others who might be in my situation. I’m just glad I found it by chance.

Looking for a lightvweight stick vac to use between uses with a beast of a canister vac. I have a messy husband and a golden retriever, so married folk and dog lovers can relate. Put everything together and started in (it was not fully
charged, out of the box, so didn’t last long). Fully charged, here’s the scoop: it kind of pulls you along; it will stand upon its’ own; almost fully made of plastic, so you have to be careful what you run over or bump into; it will pick up small debris from the doormat (indoor and outdoor); it is not powerful enough to “eat” the scatter rugs while picking stuff up from them; it’s easy to dump out the dust cup and it holds quite a bit; the dust cup is easily washed and the foam disc pad that goes on top of the cyclonic unit; the unit will charge without replacing the dust cup (which is drying); easy to put together and easy to break down to clean; managed to sweep the entire house on one
charge, but didn’t keep accurate time; the light in front illuminates all the dirt you need to clean up and things you missed. I’d say I like it so far.
Some down-sides: the “owner’s manual” is a joke as it is all pictures and warnings. I will visit the B&D website to find out if the plastic cyclonic unit can be washed and exactly how to remove the beater brush. Because it is plastic, I know that I will have to be extra careful when using this, but it is not my main vac, so it won’t be getting the hard use that it does.
If you want a good everyday alternative to a broom that will do some extra things, this might be the unit for you. It’s a good price point and since I got mine on a Prime Day sale, it was a bit better. I’m on my second B&D Dustbuster in 15 years, so I think the brand speaks for itself
TWO DAYS LATER: contacted B&D directly with an email about cleaning the cyclonic unit and received a reply the next day. Yes, you can clean the unit. Also found additional foam filters on Amazon for a good price so one can be washed and be drying and another can be popped to keep going until the charge is done..

I have always wanted a cordless vacuum for quick pickup and now I have found the perfect one! My husband and I are retired, no pets, grandchildren are all grown, but we still manage to get stuff on the floor every day. What I really like about this cordless vacuum:
It is small, lightweight and easy to maneuver and since we have a very small utility room it fits perfectly next to dryer. (see picture).
It does not have to stay plugged into charging unit. Again, small utility room no extra plug or space for charging unit. It has a separate charger that can be plugged into a wall outlet.
It lasts a long time on a charge (average about a week for us and we use it every day to do quick pick ups.)
It is so convenient! Instead of getting out the big vacuum or the broom/dust pan when there is a mess on the floor, I grab this vacuum.
The dirt cup is easy to take off and clean. Filter can be easily washed.
I love, love, the light on the front that shows what needs to be picked up.
I like how it goes from hard surface to carpet. We have wood/tile floors in all our rooms except for one room. But we do have small throw rugs in front of our doors. As soon as you move the vacuum to the carpet, the vacuum senses and changes to carpet mode.
Last but not least, it was SO affordable! My kids have an expensive Dyson cordless and having used when visiting, I can honestly say this Black & Decker cordless does just as good if not better job.

Bueno Bonito y Buen precio, esta aspiradora limpia perfectamente, dura bastante la baterÃa, yo aspiro limpiar dos veces mi departamento antes de tener que volver a cargarla. tiene una luz que te ayuda a ver el polvo que normalmente no se nota, sus cabezas son excelentes y ayuda a limpiar pelo extremandamente bien.

TH BEST VACCUM FOR THE PRICE. IT MAKES MY HOUSE SO CLEAN I USED TO HAVE THE TINECO VACCUM WHICH I PAID 700 FOR AND ITS NOTHING COMPARED TO THIS ONE. THIS VACCUM PICKS UP EVERYTHING

Very impressed with this little vacuum. It is light, easy to use, and has surprisingly very good suction. We have a long haired cat that leaves a lot of fur behind on the floors and rugs. This vacuum has zero issues cleaning up all that fur, as well as the day to day dust and grit that gets tracked into the house.
Very happy with this purchase.
