I was on the fence for a while about purchasing one of these because I wasn’t sure how effective it would be. I just used it for the first time and oh my, I wish I hadn’t waited so long. The picture shows the color of the water in the dirty tank after going over my dog’s preferred spot on the carpet for rolling. I wish I’d taken a before and after photo, but the carpet is grey so you probably wouldn’t be able to tell anyway. My next project will be the couch…
Overall, I’m really impressed with how powerful this thing is and how well it removed the deeply ingrained dirt and debris from my lil guy. To any pet parents debating this purchase, I highly recommend it!

I have 2 cats and 1 dog. They are constantly bringing in dirt etc on their paws. And the cats have hair balls. I have the big bissell carpet cleaner but it’s a pain for little spots. The spot cleaner is easy to use, quick, and easy to clean! I’m a believer!

The Bissell SpotClean PetPro is the best stain remover/wet vacuum on the market. Having tried quite a few before, this one is by far the most portable, fastest working, and has the most suction! The cord length is long enough to take it anywhere within the home a stain can find its way. With a very compact and simple design it can be carried anywhere by almost anyone. Weighing less than 15lbs it can be taken up and down stairs with ease. The hose and water containers do NOT leak. When replacing the filled water/shampoo container there will be spillage but not much. For less than $150 you get 8 cleans worth of shampoo plus the two different attachments making it a fantastic value for the price. The brushes are soft enough to not damage or pill fabrics, but tough enough to scrub out old stains. The incredible suction leaves carpets, furniture, and even mattresses damp but not soaked! I wouldn’t recommend anything other than this.

Summary:
We rescued 2 puppies and while potty training is going well, we have had MANY opportunities to use the Bissel carpet cleaner in the first 2 weeks of owning it. We have a full size standup Bissel as well, but this one is so much easier to use and clean. The attachment with the little cup underneath is a huge time saver because cleaning is so quick and easy. Highly recommended!
Tips from a heavy user:
1. Remove any chunks, spray solution, suction nasty mess, then more spray cleaner, wait a bit, then suction.
2. Press down and go very slow when suctioning to speed the drying.
3. Use different angles when suctioning to pull up more moisture.
4. For high pile carpet, use the bristles of the brush to fluff the carpet back up.
5. Do NOT invert the cup or the dirty water will go in the big tank which means more cleanup time.
6. I don’t empty the cleaning solution tank each time (saves time and on cleaning product).
7. Walk the whole unit back to your sink, then detach attachment (a bit of cleaner comes out), then rinse thoroughly.
Other bonus info:
– Cord is surprisingly long (in a good way)
– Noise is reasonable
– Lightweight enough to carry anywhere
Overall, I’d buy this again in a heartbeat. We’ll update again if there are any longevity issues, but initial impressions are strong and we’re very happy with it!

This was a perfect upgrade. This is quite a bit more powerful in terms of it’s sucking power. Capacity is much greater and dirty water reservoir is much easer to deal with and clean. The Little Green dirty reservoir is basically not cleanable and it gets funky.
There is a design flaw, which I can live with, in all of these in that the small attachment collects crap in between the clear cover and the body that there’s is absolutely no way to clean out, which is gross. However that doesn’t impact the capability or performance of the machine, it’s just kinda dumb.
Generally I am glad I got this and feel it’s well built, effective and will last a long time.

I had one of these years ago and it was A CHAMP!!! It got broken in a moving truck accident so I had to buy another one, and it is just as awesome as the first one. Convenient. Effective. I am much more likely to use this for small spots than to drag out one of the big heavy ones that my friends have. Great for spills on couches and in the car too. I use it for everything. 😃 This one came with a small bottle of the Oxy Urine Eliminator concentrate, and I really like it. It smells really clean and fresh. And it got out blue ink from a white rug where my dog chewed up a ballpoint pen. Amazing!

I have purchased other Bissel products and have been very pleased. So far, this purchase has not disappointed me! Works great for those small jobs. Its compact design makes it easy to carry around your home. Also works great for cleaning your car seats, carpet and floor mats. Good buy!

I bought this SpotClean to replace a SpotBot that died after 10+ years while trying to clean the set-in stain pictured. I pre-treated the stain I let it sit while I prepared the solution for the SpotClean. (Regular Bissell Pet Cleaning liquid). I cleaned the stain with the unit and it did a great job.
I would give it 5 stars except for the dirty water tank. The “Full” line is ridiculously low on the tank. Why have a huge return tank if you’re only going to hold a cup of dirty water? I would have had to empty the tank several times. I ignored the line while cleaning. Luckily, I only filled up less than half the tank for my clean.
I was following the cleaning/put away instructions of using the cleaner on plain water to flush out the hose when I discovered the is no auto shut off when the tank gets full. The machine keeps trying to suction water, but fails. Shutting off the machine will cause whatever water is in the hose to leak out and water in the machine will leak all over the floor. There is a floating black plastic piece in the return tank, but I don’t think it actually does anything. That’s my only complaint about the machine. I’ll have to keep a close eye on the return tank when using the SpotClean.
