I really enjoy this, I Can’t sweep because I fall due to spinal damage and Parkinson, but now I can just push and it picks it right up !

This is a manual product. I have used it four times and the central brush fell out on its own. I have contacted the help center at Bissell and I will update this review if they get back to me. Of course, I am 25 days past the return window at Amazon. Fingers crossed. I wouldn’t buy this again now that I see how it is made. Too much plastic.
This is the update: I contacted Bissell. Had a live chat. The operator gave me instructions that made no sense despite the fact that she knew what model I was working with. She was describing a different machine. She finally suggested I go to YouTube and look up a particular link. The link led me to how to replace a Fuller Brush brush roll!! After watching it, I realized what a much better mechanism they use for a carpet sweeper. I am going to try to return this to Amazon and buy a Fuller brush product. Bissell has a really poor design here. New update on 11-28: Amazon customer service finally agreed to let me return the sweeper, but it’s 2 weeks past the 30 day return date, so they’re charging me a “RESTOCKING FEE” of $4.80. I’m finished with ordering anything I don’t already own and can trust. Watch out for new fees, folks. Amazon just isn’t making enough money. That $213 billion dollars they made in 2023 thru September.

I wanted a floor sweeper that I could use for quick in between clean ups. The sweeper works great itself but when putting the handle together I was disappointed at how short the handle was. I am 5′ 1″ and it was too short. I called Bissell to see if I could purchase 1 section of the handle. They said I had to purchase the entire handle at $15 plus shipping. My husband said for another $10 I could purchase the whole sweeper. So that is what we did. We put the rest of it away in case we need it down the road.

My carpet sweeper arrived today and it is brilliant. I used it on the bedroom wall to wall carpets and it was like using a vacuum cleaner it was so good. I recommend the Bissell carpet sweeper as a great time saver when you dont want to drag out a vacuum cleaner.

Great little manual push sweeper. The brushes really pick up all sorts of liter on my floors. The brushes are located more to the front and rear of the sweeper than others I’ve used, making dirt pick-up closer to a wall or other things much better. Emptying it is also very easy.

This little manual sweeper worked so much better than I expected! I couldn’t use a vacuum cleaner on my 6x9ft area rug (sucks up the rug) and I needed something to pick up the dirt and pet hair. I got this sweeper, not really expecting too much, but it picks up everything! It does a fantastic job of picking up the pet hair, and it is easy to empty out and clean. It is surprisingly sturdy, and reminds me of the old manual sweeper my grandmother had. Overall it’s a great value for the price. Would highly recommend it for area rugs that you can’t use a regular vacuum on.
