   As a proud pet parent, I have always struggled to keep my home looking pristine with two massive Bernese Mountain Dogs and a cat. Fortunately, the BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus has turned my cleaning routine from a dreaded chore into a surprisingly satisfying experience!

   Right out of the box, this upright deep cleaner impressed me with its sleek design and lightweight build. It’s easy to maneuver around furniture—definitely a plus for anyone with a pet that thinks your couch is their personal playground. The real game-changer, though, is how powerful this machine is! The Dual Dirt Lifter Powerbrush makes quick work of embedded pet hair and stains, pulling out dirt I didn’t even realize was lurking beneath the surface.

   I especially love the 30-minute dry time! It sounds too good to be true, but BISSELL really delivers here. I cleaned a large area rug, and just as promised, within half an hour, it was ready for us to walk on again. No more damp carpets leaving my pets unsure if they’re allowed back inside the house!

   The included pet upholstery tool has changed my game, as I can rapidly clean couches and chairs that have been frequented by my four-legged pals. Stains from muddy paws and accidental spills don’t stand a chance against the Tough Stain Tool, helping to lift even the most stubborn marks effortlessly.

   Overall, I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results and convenience this machine provides. It combines powerful cleaning capabilities with features tailored specifically for pet owners.    My Kirby multi-purpose machine broke and it was cheaper to buy this product than to repair the Kirby. We already have another vacuum cleaner that still works. I needed to test this machine to make sure we loved it within our 30-day window for return, because I don’t hesitate to return items if don’t meet my expectation. So I chose the filthiest runner in the house- about 12′ x 3′. It leads to the back porch where we let our dog in and out. Although we wipe her feet before she comes in on wet days when she finds the only mud in the yard, she still tracks in plenty. And when she was a puppy, she had upset tummy and poomped all over this runner several times. I spot cleaned as needed, and vacuumed not often enough.
   So today we used this Bissel on the filthy runner. We ran one gallon of soapy water, and then ran clean water over it 5x until the rinse water was nearly clear. Yes, the runner needed it!!! And now I don’t recognize the runner- seriously, it looks better than when we first purchased it 3 years ago! I am amazed that this machine sucked up so much dirt. Not only that, it pulled up enough cat hair to make a half a cat! (we have 4 kitties in addition to doggy.) It’s very rare that I am this excited about a product, and I can’t wait to use it on the rest of the rugs and carpets in the house. I am chagrinned that we were living with so much dirt underfoot, and thrilled we have the right tool to fix that now.
   I checked the runner about an hour after we were done on this very humid day, and it was nearly dry. (The Kirby process took at least 24 hours to dry, and was never this clean, nor this easy to maneuver.)

   Prior to purchasing this I had the Hoover smart carpet cleaner which worked okay but I felt like it didn’t suck up water very well so I decided on the Bissell after reading reviews. It was very easy to assemble right out of the box and get set up to start cleaning. I like the different cleaning settings, as sometimes I just feel like the carpet needs a refresher as opposed to a deep cleaning. It had a slight burning smell at first which worried me but it didn’t last long. I like that I’m able to dispense the solution instead of the machine like the Hoover which only dispensed pushing forward making awkward floor areas hard to apply the solution fully. The dirty water tank was full of nearly black water the first few uses which was satisfying to see, and the tanks were easy to empty and rinse. I thought I would miss being able to remove the brush rollers to clean like the Hoover but turns out the brush rollers on the Bissell don’t collect as much hair and debris making them easy to just quickly wipe off. I love the little cleaning tool that comes with it, makes cleaning out the plastic cover a breeze. It ended up being much easier and quicker to clean and put back together with fewer detachable parts than the Hoover. It still has a slight burning smell whenever I first turn it on, not sure if that’s normal but like the first use it goes away quickly. I’m happy with my purchase so far and hope this carpet cleaner will last for a long time.
