The vacuum is great at spot cleaning and removing stains from carpets, however the dirty valve leaks when in use and in removal for dumping. Gross. My box was missing a tool, and was rather hard to clean the brush. I can see the value of this if you are cleaning up after a child who isn’t potty trained or an ill loved one as getting most of an area clean even with a little leakage is better than nothing. However as someone who bought to clean a specific mess and won’t need it again very quickly the vacuum doesn’t seem worth the price with these faults.

This product shipped with a leaking tank. However, customer service was easy to get and a replacement part was supplied free (even without the Amazon warranty).
The product works as described and has been fairly good at removing stains. I am glad I got this rather than the smaller units.
Use. Hot. Tap. Water. Not boiling, but make sure it’s as hot as tap water gets!

Very happy with the machine and it performs well. My bad for not having taken a before picture of this little bench. It was lightly stained all over the pale fabric. Not any more. Looks great and salvaged my little bench also leaving a clean scent from the solution. Suction is more than adequate and the compact design made it easy to use. Only disappointment was finding parts missing, hence the 4 stars. I will go through Bissel as advised in the manual to get the parts. I have my cars’ upholstery to tackle next and I’m confident it will do a great job. UPDATE: Today I was notified by Bissell that the part I thought was missing was not intended to be included for this model but are sending it to me anyway. Great customer service. 5 stars now!

We really needed a “steam cleaner”. When our Little Green arrived, it became apparent that you only use hot tap water. There is no mechanism that heats the water to truly disinfect and sanitize carpets or upholstery.
Misleading product description . . . very disappointed. It says this is a steam cleaner, but it is not. We’re returning immediately.

I heard the hype – but even I was so surprised with how well it cleaned! I’m obsessed with finding new little spot to try it out on. So far the car, carpet, and on furniture it works so well.
