So far this is working well. I’m using it as a mini vacuum on my couch as we have 3 dogs. It won’t pull out the hairs that have stuck into the fabric, but it does a good job of vacuuming up loose hair and dirt they track in.

I don’t buy that this thing captures or kills mites or anything of the sort. It has some UV-looking LEDs facing down, but even if they are real UV-C, a quick pass over something with the light isn’t going to instantly sterilize the area.
Instead, I think this makes a decent lint roller – I have a cover on the bed so the dogs can sleep with us without getting the comforter dirty. I also have covers on the couches. This does a decent job of scraping and to some extent very lightly sucking hair off of the surface. I want to stress that this is fairly low suction, and that makes sense given the place it’s used. Regular vacuum cleaners struggle without special attachments on beds/couches since they get choked up.
This didn’t immediately remove all hair from my dog shield (the cover on the bed), but after a minute or two, the collection bin did have a small fistfull of fur. Emptying it out is pretty straight forward.
Build quality wise, this is extremely cheap, but I am totally fine with that in principle. The problem with the material and build quality (and dubious claims) is going to come down to the price – I’d say this is maybe good for a $50-$70 product.
