I’ve used this for my pellet grill and also my pellet stove. Comes with a nice paper filter, easy to clean, and very light. Does everything I need it to do compared to the larger units. I would definitely recommend, fits in the closet, works very well and I can carry it easily to different locations.

My husband used this and he said it was perfect to clean our pellet stove. We also ordered the cleaning kit that comes with flexible tube attachment to get into all the ash ports. Didn’t get 5 stars due to my husband said the static electricity from the machine was shocking the heck out of him! He even tried putting rubber gloves on.

Easy to carry around and vacuum my fireplace walls. The filter works but vacuum overheats, that is something I am aware of. I would not use it to vacuum two inches of ash,only after hand shoveling it out then vacuum the remaining dust and walls etc.

I bought this as an Xmas gift for my friend who had been saying that he needed one for the past year but still hasn’t got himself one and he thinks it’s great!
It’s a nice, compact size so it never really seems to be in the way even when he leaves it by the fireplace. The suction is more powerful then one would think, proof being that it sucked up a glass bottle full of essential oils that was near by as of it were some tiny speck of ash or something! (That was fun trying to get the bottle out of the hose where it got stuck!) And speaking of the hose, IMO, it’s a bit on the short side, but that actually made it a little less of a challenge to get the glass oil bottle out of it…lol. It doesn’t have and wheels/casters but since it’s so small it really doesn’t need them.
All in all it’s a great ash vacuum at a great price, you can’t go wrong!

The suction is great, but I can’t get it’s nose into areas of my pellet stove because of lack of attachments and stiffness. I actually had to duct tape a previous vacuum’s hose to it in order to use attachments I already owned

This is a great little vacuum for the smoker. I bought a few generic ends for it (it comes with a pipe end), and I use the end with a small brush on it. This unit is very light weight, and it’s very easy to clean out. Much better for this purpose compared to my big shop vac.

This is basically a small shop vacuum. There is not a secondary ash filter so the main filter clogs after 1 maybe 2 cleanings. Loses suction after one or two cleaning. You must constantly clean the main filter as it gets caked after one cleaning. Totally useless garbage. Would not recommend – will be returning for a real ash vacuum.
