I decided to look for a new vacuum a few years ago. To be fair, I don’t think I tried a corded, bagless vac. I tried cordless, bagless and other fancy contraptions, but nothing did much and certainly didn’t warrant their prices.
The vac I had was an Oreck upright. My mother has a newer model that is terrific, but the one I got was $15 at a second hand store. That shoulda told me something, BUT I was living on practically nothing to get away from
a bad situation and had to have SOMETHING to clean with.
The beater brush was the equivalent of threadbare and the bag, the outer bag, didn’t seal as the rubber was old and dry so the suction was terrible. I’m embarrassed to admit that it took me years to realize the full extent of wear to that machine, actually, it took until I got this machine.
All this to say that I purchased this piece based solely on price, on sale at that.
YOWZA!!
Until I got this machine I hadn’t really known how poorly the old machine was working.
I have a husky-lab mix and the old machine generally got most of the hair, but the day I got this, unboxed it, clipped the three pieces together then ran it across the area rug she uses I really had no idea just how bad the suction was on the other.
This little beauty is FANTASTIC. ESPECIALLY when you figure the price point. It really can’t be easier to put together, empty, clean and just use in general.
As far as power, I might not be the best source of that info as I’m just impressed at how much dirt got picked up that was left behind by my old unit and I don’t find it much different noise wise than any vacuum I’ve ever used.
I do like these socks they keep my piggy’s very warm –
It’s lightweight has good suction never really did like this little vacuum cleaner and the problem was that within 2 months the piece that you pull out to connect to the accessories when I went to put it back in to the connection the vacuum I pushed down to put it in and the piece broke so either I’m just really strong or that is a very flimsy piece of plastic but yeah well I had it I really did like it it was just a lightweight and easy to pick up and just maneuver around what is a pretty cheap though so maybe that’s a win-win I give her four stars for that I didn’t break it I would still have it but you know and things happen

It’s really small, but it’s like perfect for what I need. I just need something like a scooper Duper to just kind of run around the house and need some better than the Bissell better than the eureka better than the shark the way it sucks. It’s very strong Amazon Products have never disappointed me. I Love the way they have it set up the way it functions it’s compatible it’s convenient. It comes with two top pieces and it’s pretty much already set up when you get it. All you have to do is clip in the bottom The design is great. The noise level is a little loud.

Let me just say I don’t like wasting my money. My home has hardwood floors and a couple of areas rugs, so while I would love to have a fancy cordless Dyson, I would not spend a ridiculous amount of money for two areas rugs. After reading the reviews on this little basic, I thought why not try it and am so glad I did! Great suction, even with dog hair, lightweight and the cord is sufficiently long for my needs. Highly recommend.

Was totally surprised at the price of this vacuum. I needed a compact unit for my office that I could use when needed. Its compact size, makes it easy to store in a pantry, its suction is impressive, and it’s so easy to empty the onboard debris cup. Highly recommend it, and it even comes with onboard tools!!!

After reading most of the reviews, I knew pretty much what to expect from this vacuum, and it doesn’t disappoint. It was easy to put together, and I was vacuuming just a few moments after I got it. I bought this vacuum because my much more expensive Miele canister vacuum — while it’s well engineered, handles bare floors beautifully and is super quiet — can’t even pick up lint from my wool area rug. So I was looking for an inexpensive, yet effective and lightweight upright vacuum solely for use on my living room area rug. So glad I came across this option, as I really didn’t want to invest a more considerable sum in a vacuum just for use on an area rug. Though it’s now three years old, the rug is still releasing a lot of minuscule wool fibers, and due to the wimpy carpet suction power of the Miele canister vacuum, I was sure the rug was harboring a lot of dust as well.
So my requirements for a more powerful vacuum were pretty minimal. I just wanted something fairly compact, but powerful enough to get my area rug clean. The short cord isn’t an issue for me because my area rug isn’t huge, and I don’t intend to use it on my hardwood floors. I don’t mind that it doesn’t have a swivel head because it’s easy enough to maneuver. My area rug is just 9×12, but when I let this little vacuum loose on it, I was impressed to see that the dust cup was full almost immediately, no doubt sucking up three years of the dust and wool bits left behind by my Miele. The rug was noticeably brighter after running this vacuum over it. The dirt receptacle is easy to remove and empty, but I’d never do it indoors — having had a bagless upright vacuum in the past, I quickly realized that no matter how carefully it’s done, emptying it indoors releases dust into the air, so I empty it into a bag outdoors. I miss having an upright with a HEPA filter, but I knew this one didn’t have one, and wouldn’t have expected it at this price. But I’d forgotten what it was like to use a vacuum without a HEPA filter, and was reminded how handy they are because after using this vacuum the first time, I was coughing and the house smelled like dust. But the second time I used it — no doubt because it did such a good job cleaning the rug the first time — it wasn’t an issue.
To sum up, I’m impressed at how effectively this well-priced vacuum cleans. I love the size and light weight, and the simplicity of the design, and it’s not as noisy as I expected, after reading other reviews. Having said that, I’ll still only use it when I know my neighbor is at work. Again, I don’t intend to use it on my hardwood floors (I have to get some kind of ROI from my expensive Miele canister, which does a great job on bare floors), so there’s no disappointment in that regard. I’m very happy with this purchase, and I feel so much better knowing that my area rug is now dust free. It will probably still be shedding for months to come, as that’s the nature of tufted wool rugs, but at least I now know that I have a much better tool to deal with it. Another plus is that this compact vacuum takes up very little space in the limited storage area in my flat. All in all, I’m very chuffed with this little powerhouse of a vacuum!
